Fox's paws bounced easily as he made his way into the WRTK Building in the City. His ebony and ivory mixed harks were raised on either side of his head, acoustics cupping any noise that might come about. The border collie loved exploring these parts. It was so interesting to see what the humans had acomplished in their long lifetime. While Fox didn't mind the humans, he had to admit, living life now on his own without the humans was a good thing. He loved not having to respond to people or even worry about people calling him 'retarded' and 'slow'.
True, Fox wasn't the most swiftest fox in the bunch, but that didn't mean he didn't know what was going on, it was just in simplier terms and terms HE understood easily. Fox's blades and pelvis rolled easily as he made his way into the building. He snuffled along. No other dogs had come through here yet, that morning, but the scents of other dogs were definitely there from passerbys that had come through here days ago.
Fox made his way through one room, which looked like a waiting area. The leather couches were torn and pieces were hanging off in ragged shreds. The windows were all gone, dust lined the floor like a thick blanket. A computer was blown off the desk and now resided on the ground in pieces. Fox briefly paused to nudge a old keyboard before pressing on ward. He was really excited now as he continued to look around at the place. This place was really big. His lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his bottom two canines as he panted making his way through the rooms. Some rooms were in worse condition. He wondered if he would meet anyone interesting...

(Hope you don't mind me joining?)
The delicate white mitts of the black bitch were no longer crusted with their own blood, but thoroughly dusted with the dirt that forever clung to the hard broken asphalt. She moved slowly, the chain around her neck still dangling and clinking as she walked, the only sign that she had come here by aid of human and not of stray birth. This place frightened the poor bitch as she had never been in the city before, let alone one struck with such disaster. Her heart thudded in her chest, tongue licking her chops as she sniffed the ground for any sign of food. It had been two days since she had seen the death of her humans by canine mauling, and she hadn't eaten anything.
Struck weary and uncharacteristically sluggish, Aleisha slowly meandered toward a large shoddy building that didn't look like anything but a mess of concrete that towered into the sky; but perhaps it held some sort of feast... wishful thinking from the delirious dog. The lack of food and liquid was taking it's toll and the unfamiliar girl stumbled through a large gap in the wall.
Nothing. Her dull gaze passed the bare walls and she trotted to sniff at an old mangled trash can. Nothing. Nothing but the dead scent of emptiness. A small whine passed through her mouth as desperation sunk in, where was the food? Where were the fellow canines she had seen earlier? How big was this place? With a tired sigh, Leisha sniffed and wandered around the disjointed work building. 'Food...food...' Her mind buzzed with nothing but that thought. She pressed her nose into every hole and soon, lo and behold!!
The stench of something rotting beneath a pile of tattered technology and broken wood. Desperation took over as she pushed her muzzle in, jaws parting to snap onto something small and thin. She pulled, snapping her head back in attempts to dislodge the potential meal. Unfortunately in doing so, she dislodged the pile of rubble and created something of a dilemma. CRASH. Aleisha scooted back, giving a yip in surprise and glaring at the dodgy pile. "Fine! Be difficult!" She yelled in frustration, planting her rear heavily on the ground and sighing. "I give up..."

Fox heard the crash and immediately raised his head off his paws. Ears cocked forward acoustics cupping the noise. Curiously, he pulled himself up onto all fours and began slowly padding toward the noise. Nose twitching as he snuffled along. There was a fae nearby. His blades and pelvis rolled easily with each step paws not making any noise as he trotted. Fur bounced slightly from the motion of the gait. His lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out adn resting over his bottom two canines as he panted ever so slightly. As he rounded the corner, he pickd up the scent of a dead rat. Hungry slightly, he bent down and scooped up the rat in his jaws before continuing on.
Eventually he rounded another corner and spied the fae. She seemed rather frustrated so he planted his rump down on the ground, forelegs coming around to the front of his chest, keeping his upper body erect. Ears twitched forward, acoustics awaiting to hear her words. Fox dropped the rat at his forepaws and then looked at the fae.
"Are you OK? Are you hungry?"Fox asked her curously and waited. He didn'tk now what was wrong but clearly she seemed rather annyoed. He watched the fae closely and waited. Fox hated to see any female upset or irritated. If she was hungry, she could have some of the rat he had found. He would share with her if she wanted. He wasn't stingy or anything so he patiently waited for her to respond. Outside teh wind howled slightly and the shutters banged against the window pants. The sky was a battleship grey color and fluffy whtie clouds drifted lazily across as he glanced out the window before turning his eyes back onto her.

Her chest expanded and exhaled heavily, the sigh of breath huffing through her nose as she lay down on the cold floor. Why on earth did she have to get plucked from her home to do this? It had all gone so wrong right from the start. And now here she was, in a destroyed city with who knows what that would do...well...who knows! Aleisha's stomach growled and she replied with her own fed up moan, life was never so hard on the farm.
Wait...what was that? Black auds stood tall on her head as she whipped her head around to catch the sight of a black and white border male dropping...food! How could she have been so blind, deaf and dumb not to have noticed the scent of another canine, let alone the rotting tid-bit her had at his paws. She almost launched herself at the food had her mind not stopped her first. 'Is he one of them..' She wondered, staring intensely at the dog for moments of silence before she felt herself stiffen, 'will he do to me what they did to my people...' She felt her hackles rising protectively, but it wasn't until he spoke she felt herself relax a little.
"Are you OK? Are you hungry?"
Aleisha blinked a couple of times before nodding slightly. "Yes...thankyou." she said, timidly, pressing her ears back against her head and frowning at the dog. So they weren't all killers... Leisha sat up and licked her chops, her mouth watered at the sight of the food, even though it was small. "I'm quite hungry..." She added, though didn't make a move. She still wasn't sure of this dog and, sadly, was a little unsure of herself at the moment.

Fox sensed she was a bit nervous so he gently nudged the carcass toward her. Fox panted slightly, his lower jaw dropping , salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his bottom two canines. Velvety ears were rotated toward her, waiting to see what she would say next.
"Here. Fox isn't hungry yet so pretty lady can have food" he said gently, nuding the carcass toward her again. He lowered his belly onto the ground, forelegs stretching out before him, he let his muzzle rest between his forepaws and he looked at the female.
"Why is pretty lady out here on day like this? Surely her family is worried," he said with concern. A chilly breeze whipped his fur in several directions, but he didn't mind it one bit. He was actually finding the cold weather rather soothing so he continued to watch the female closely. He didn't know why she was out here by herself, surely her own famiyl would be worried about her, and even if they knew where she was, why wouldnt' they come after her? If that was him he'd be completely worried about where his family members were.
A soft sneeze escaped his maw as he raised it now, and just watched teh fae closely waiting for her to respond.
