CLICK FOR FULL PICTURE^ Carrie's paws bounced easily as she made her way into the abandoned research facility. Ears were lifted on either side of her head, acoustics upping any faint noise. Chocolate brown orbs were locked a head of her, scanning around. Nose twitched, picking up the faint scents that lingered here. This place still smelled of death and decay, and other things that Carrie couldn't put her paw on the right way. Her blades and pelvis rolled easily with each step, paws hardly making a noise on the ground. Soft golden fur bounced as she trotted along the ground. Her lower jaw was dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over her bottom two canines as she panted slightly. Above her the sky was a battleship grey, clouds were white and fluffy.
Carrie was heading to the facility to just go exploring. She wanted to go to someplace that would match up to what a castle would be. True, Carrie was a princess, but she was also the darkest of dogs, whose heart was as black as oil. She endured laughing at others misfortunes and pain. She also had cold sense of humor. Some rather find her shocking at close distances.
Carrie slipped into the facility and nudged open the door, the door creaking slightly. She entered the facility and her nails began clicking on the ground. She pressed her nose to the ground snuffling along. Other dogs had come here before her, but luckily were not lingering there yet. She had the place to herself.
Excellent she thoguht gleefully as she slipped into one room and jumped up onto one of the torn couches. She tucked her legs beneath her and let her forelegs dangle over the edge as she laid there, wondering if her prince would come. And why wouldn't he? I'm dashing and gorgeous, she thought happily and waited.

The large brute padded into the abandoned Research Facility. He hated this place. He remembered all the stories his mother told him, about the humans, in big white coats, and sharp things, and how they would take dogs, and other creatures sometimes, into the lab, and how they would come out with blood on their gloves, and an evil look in their eye. Pepper smiled. At least it would never happen to him. The wolf hybrid suddenly smelt something. A femme. He sensed her darkness. Yes, I have found the perfect, nasty little femme, to be my love. She will probably be as twisted as I am, the wolf husky mix thought to himself. Dark blue orbs spotted the beautiful femme, and his large paws carried her towards him. He grinned charmingly, letting his pearly white teeth gleam inside his mouth.
"Hello there, femme. Whats a pretty little thing like you doing all alone?"
Ripper looked the femme over hungrily. He was in for a treat tonight.

Kodiak lifted his huge head into the air, his nose trained on the scents around him. None were too recent, all were somewhat old, and covered in a thin layer of dust. Ha, like scents were solid. Kodiak looked down, his paws seeming to be larger than they normally were. His claws were sharpened, one was torn by his cruel method of slashing his claws against the rocks, until they were either sharpened, or torn out, his paws bloodied. It had happened once, and Kodiak had loved the pain, enduring it through the tough winter in Kodiak like it was nothing. But to other dogs, it had to be something.
Then, something caught his nose, two scents, male and female. Crap. I don't really want to fight tonight in front of a female, do I? He thought, thinking better of it as he made his way through the facilty, until he slid into the room where the two were. The female was gorgeous, a pretty little thing that smelled like evil.
"Hullo." Kodiak bowed his head, before turning his attention to the male. He wa sa mix, probably husky and wolf, and he was evil. Laughing sielntly to himself, Kodiak bowed to him, as well, setting a truce. The female was probbaly already his, and Kodiak wasn't really feeling like intruding tonight.

Dark blue orbs studied the male that had joined them. Oh, he looks and seems evil, I might as well be friendlily, right?, Ripper thought to himself. He saw the male nod his head to him. He smiled evilly and nodded back, knowing of the truce that now settled between them. The other brute would not go for this pretty evil little thing here, and then Ripper would not mess with any femmes that the other brute wanted. He decided that making friends would be good to get a reputation around the streets. He smiled at the other brute.
"Thank you for your understanding brute, the name is Ripper. And what might your name be?"
Ripper looked back and forth from the femme to the brute, waiting for one of them to reply.

Carrie smirked at the brute . She let her tail sweep from side to side, She heard him ask what a pretty thing like her was doing here at this time of night. She responded.
"Well, you are right on one thing, I am pretty. And I"m out looking for some fun I guess," She responded in flirty tone and then glanced to the other brute who had come up on them. She glanced to him and smiled at him too. She pulled herself up on all fours and spread her legs, giving her body a rigorous shake. Her ears were flapping against her head while she stood there.
"Why hello Ripper and Hello Kodiak," she said warmly. "What are you lovely handsome boys doing out here too?"
She grinned at them but kept her rump planted on the ground. If they wanted to flirt with her, that was absolutely fine. She flirted right back. Carrie's warm chocolate orbs moved from one brute to the next. They were both handsome looking so this would turn out to be an interesting encounter. If they would fight over her, that was one thing Carrie absoltuely adored when males did that. It made her feel ten times more important than she already was. Her lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over her bottom two canines as she panted slightly. Above her, the sky slightly darkened outside the facility. The building made little creaks and groans but it was only beacuse it was settling from only being nothing more than a shell in some areas. But the place had a charm that Carrie loved and she was glad she had come here to explore it. Now she was in the company of two handsome brutes. She waited to see what would happen.

"Oh, just out and about, looking for a nice young, pretty, evil little thing to hook up with. What about you?"
Ripper stepped forward, grinning toothily.
"Well sweetheart, Kodiak and I have come to an agreement of some sort. So I guess I'm all yours now, baby."
Ripper chuckled deeply, letting his charm and charisma show again, before taking a step closer towards her, again.
"Tell me, my dear, do you belong to a pack?"
Ripper sat down in front of Carrie, letting his dark blue eyes rest onto the femme's beautiful body. He smiled to himself, before sitting back on his rump, his tail wagging slightly.

Carrie smirked and teasingly rolled her eyes.
"You are so obvious its not funny boyo...but thats fine with me," she said yawning, her lower jaw dropping, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over her bottom two canines. She panted slightly as she regarded both dogs.
"So what do you two want to do now? I'm bored. I could go for a walk anyone up for it?" she asked grinning at Ripper and Kodiak. She pulled herself up on all fours and padded a few paces before stopping and turning her head around, to look over her shoulder at them. Ears were raised on either side of her head, acoustics cupping any faint noise that might come to them.
Her tail wagged slowly from side to side , waving in the air behind her. A chilly breeze whipped her golden fur in several directions. The chill was wonderful to her though. It was just like her. Enjoying the cold and being cold herself. It was a perfect match. She kept grinning at the two boys as she waited for them to respond.
"We could go explorign through this place. It seems interesting enough. I"ve heard stories about this place that would curl your fur," She said laughing at the thought of the horrible stories that had drifted down from generation to generation. Her mother had told her stories. While at the time she thought they were rather strange, now she just completely thought they were hilarious now. Stories of torture, death and experimentation. Now, it was nothing more than a burned out ruin from the nuclear bomb that had gone off destroying all the human life and its representations. Strangely, dogs managed to thrive. She had no explanation for that whatsoever.

"Well, It's pretty hard to curl my fur, nowadays. Not even a nasty old Kodiak bear could curl my fur, even when he tore my family in half, their insides spilled out around me. Boy, that was something." Kodiak laughed, following the female, before deciding that it was best to let Ripper go first, seeing as she was now his. He respected that, and sat quietly, waiting for the male to step in front of him. It was exactly how the wolf packs worked, the alpha leading the pack, and was able to choose any female he wanted out of the pack. He could take every single one, if he wanted to. It all depended if the female wanted him, of course. If she didn't, the female was considered brave, and was given a scar across the cheek as a reminder of her choice. Kodiak had always respected the female's choice, and hadn't been surprised when it happened so often. He just laughed, and shunned the male who left the scar on their cheecks. He thought pretty females, especially pretty wolf females, should never be marked, or have their beauty destroyed.

Carrie smirked at Kodiak and laughed too along with him. Firstly, she never said she was Ripper's mate. She had her own mind and would choose whomever she wanted. If the opposite didnt' like that , that was too damn bad. Carrie watchd the two brutes as she began padding away slowly, ears cocked back so she could hear them clearly. Her warm chocolate eyes glanced back every once and a while then she began talking to them.
"Hehe now I actually find those stories hilarious. There was one instant where this male human went nuts and took a chainsaw and attacked his fellow workers. They had no idea why he started it either. Perfectly normal in every sense. " Carrie said as she stopped a moment and felt an itch forming behind her ear.
She planted her rump on the ground and lifted a hind leg up, letting her nails kick at the spot. She leaned into it, sighing with relief. The only problem was that she was prone to fleas. Hell any stray dog had to content with it. They weren't the most pleasant things either. She could do without them for sure. She stopped scratching and pulled herself back up onto all fours. She spread her legs and gave her body a rigorous shake, ears flapping against her skull. She stopped walking and craned her lovely head around to look at the two brutes behind her.
"Come on boyos. Lets' explore the second floor," she said smirking coyly as she took a few steps up the stairway that led to the second floor. This was the only part of the building that wasn't weakened or anything. It was perfectly fine surprisingly. She paused midway up and glanced over the charred railing, waiting for them to make their next move.

Kodiak laughed, as he found the story quite amusing. Now, he had never seen the human weapons as weapons, more of toys of come sort. Seriously, guns? Why not ust used your teeth and claws, the things you were meant to use? Instead of refill the freakin ammo everytime, you could easily attack again and again, until something eventually broke. And with dogs, it was pretty hard to break a tooth, especially if one had been living in the streets for a while. "Humans were the stupidest animals I had ever met, apart from the kodiak bears, of course. But then again, some of the saint bernards up north had head filled with mostly air, and were only trained to rescue humans. I bet you they're still up there in the cabins, searching for any survivers." Kodiak laughed once more, thinking of the big dogs that he ha dmet trying to look for their human companions, only to find them torn in three, blood still dried on their coats. Of course, not all bernards were dumb, in fact, some that Kodiak had met were quite intelligent, and had a taste for bear. A few even craved blood, human blood that they had gotten to taste. Kodiak had almost been one of those dogs, craving blood to live. He almost wished he hadn't left.
"Second floor? I'm up for it, I'm actually quite interested in these silly human stories." No this wasn't an act for the pretty female, this was the real Kodiak, the one and only Akita that had been born in Alaska, most likely. And he was proud of it.

Ripper laughed and yawned slightly, stretching his muscular legs.
"Oh, exploring, eh? I'm up for that, come on then guys. Lets go explore. Ya never know, we might even find some small creatures to torture. That's one of my favorite pastimes, a hobby, even."
Ripper listened to the others stories and he laughed.
"Wow, there was one incident, that was passed down from my mother's family, where my mothers old human went psycho after he got bitten by this mangy stray dog, and he went on a killing spree, even slaughtering his own family. It was quite funny to watch, my mother told me, and she only escaped with her life. I would of loved to of been there, I would of laughed in the humans face and ran."
Ripper laughed again, before spotting a flight of stairs leading up to the 2nd floor. He grinned, before charging up them and taking a look around the old abandoned room that the stairs led to. He chuckled quietly when he saw the carnage in front of him. He called down to the other dogs.
"Hey, come and look at this! What a sight!"
Ripper padded forward to see broken shards of test tubes and bottles, scattered everywhere. The light bulbs hanging from cracked and peeling ceiling were broken, and one was still flickering slightly. He payed no mind to it and he sat on top of an old, wooden, rotting box, waiting for the others to join him.

Carrie grinned and headed up the stairs after Ripper. She stopped beside him, inches from his own body and slinked her head around the edge of the door frame, which went into one of the rooms. Ears raised in curiosity as she stood there looking at the object.
In the center of the room was a large bed, much like one of those hospital beds that the humans lie in. It was on wheels but what was interesting, was what was lying in it, or even, the remains of what was lying in it. There was nothing more than bones there, but what struck Carrie was the shape of them. Curiously, Carrie padded slowly into the room, taking in everything. She scanned around. There was a plastic tube that led from a large silver pole to the bed. She paused at the edge of the bed and peered at teh remains.
The bones looked human, but at the same time, very different. She rasied her chocolate orbs to Ripper and Kodiak.
"These bones dont look normal...they look human, but canine at teh same time," she said slowly but was wide eyed.
What on earth were these humans DOING? she wondered to herself with a tingle of fear. The arm bones were long, but the hand tarsels looked more like a dogs. The skull was humanish, but with a canine skull combined. Fear now crept into Carrie's chest. This didn't look normal at all. It was something that looked straight out of one of those human horror movies. She looked at Ripper and Kodiak.
"What the hell were these humans DOING here?" she asked slowly her nose twitching. Though the stench was lingering slightly, it smelled like a dog taht hadn't bathed in years. Even 80 years later, the faint aroma was still there. She waited for Ripper and Kodiak to resond.

The large wolf hybrid walked over to where Carrie was, looking at the remains of a VERY strange thing, lying in one of the beds. Holy crap what WAS that, he thought. He nudged Carrie comfortingly, before examining the remains of the half canine half human bones. His orbs widened and he stepped back, shocked.
"Oh dear god. Those remains belonged to neither dog nor human. They belonged to a....a....monster. A hybrid of some sort. Whatever those humans were doing, I don't wanna know about it."
Ripper crinkled his nose in disgust. The air smelt stale, almost of something that had been dead WAY too long. He suddenly saw something that nearly made him vomit. He saw a large tube in a dark corner of the room. It had a faint glow or something....something chemical. Something dangerous. But Ripper still checked it out. He motioned for Carrie to come and look. And that was when he saw it. A smaller tube, with a dogs head in it. A rotting dogs head. With shriveled up eyeballs, and peeled away flesh. Ripper took a step back, speechless. Things were getting weirder and weirder in this place.

Kodiak laughed, his loud voice echoing throughout the room. The bones on the table, he knew what they were, he knew what they had been doing, or so he thought. They had done the same exact thing in Alaska, and had wanted HIM for the experiment. "Same thing happened where I came from. They took some dog Dna, you see?" He nodded towards the dog head. The humans were so unintelligent that they needed evry part of the dog for studies, and took out the brains to study their mind. "And since they didn't have a lot of technology, that's what happened to the dogs. I almost became that. So they inject the dog DNA into the human, and the process begins." Kodiak felt like he was explaining a horror story to two pups, who had no clue about stuff like this. Maybe it was just because he grew up in a situation like this, and that his owner had been a scientist. Maybe, maybe not. Who knew?
