Orbs scanned the terrain as she looped the corner of the town garage. Hide flowed through the breeze that she seemed to be creating. A smirk ran across her maw as she new that this pack could only hold the toughest and she was an assasian..or maybe a retired..oo she couldnt remeber. Having been the protecter she had grownfond of becoming scared and being atacked so her guard was never down. Maw opened, her salmon pink tounge lolled, only to recoil as she let out a light bark for others to surround her and welcome her. She was not yet a member of the pack and hoped to be because she needed a family, someone and others to take care of her. Grey splotches rose up as she bounced along. Nails clicking she stopped abruptly only to put upon a rash on her pads. Falling to her back she began to roll in the slight puddle that had formed from the rainwater escaping the roofs barrier. Now wet she gave a slight shake and lay again only to wait for the alpha of these lands and she could only hope that this meeting would go well.

A pale muzzle was raised off two crossed paws. The padded seats of the old Number Fourteen bus were few and far between, but if you knew which were which, you could sneak into one for the night. The dog occuping one of these more comfortable seats hadn't been asleep that night. No, he's been waitful, listening to the sounds around him. Every now and then had been a scuffle of two or more dogs near by. His acute hearing had picked them up before they went out of range. Artemis took a lesuirely streth, his long tail flicking out slightly as he leapt lightly off the chair. His clawed paws clicked gently across the floor of the bus. He took the stairs cleanly in one swift movement, landing first with his front paws, his back curling up behind.
The area in front of him was littered with scrap. He'd lift a paw every so often to dislodge a piece of light scrap that lay in his path. The floor was also coated with a thin layer of grease, one that he could easily rectify. Not that this mattered. Learning to walk over hard surfaces gave you surefootedness. The ability to scale buildings or hard destinations. His tail was lifted out of the grime, sifted softly through the silent air. He scaled the stairs with no trouble, each paw using the grip on the metal. From here he could servay what he was leader of. The pale moonlight reflected off the sides of the bus, throwing it out onto the floor. The regal looking dog bent back his haunches. He didn't need an army. He didn't knwo what he needed. It would come along soon enough if he did need it desperately.
Artemis looked over the garage floor. There were the remains of a single pick up truck that hadn't yet been ripped to pieces by dogs sharpening claws or teeth or just in a bad mood. Artemis seated himself on the ledge about the garage, it overlooked the whole floor and also the door. He could see the darkened corners because of the pale light coming from the dust covered windows. His impassive features turned to the right, where paw prints had been left in the dust. Some his own, some his own pack. He was finding leadership easy, nothing to it. They followed him so far, and he enjoyed it. Yet, as was customary for Artemis, he didn't show his enjoyment. His sense brought him the smell of an approching female. He lazily moved his head around to where said female had entered. His paws were crossed in the customary fashion of relaxation. He watched the newcomer with mild interest, tail flicking lightly from side to side, wondering what she might be doing here.
