The waves brought crashes along the great mighty shores of the beach, small shells and other depree rose up sinking into the lonley sand. The waves were still in a green, yet mucky color from the worlds pullution. It seemed to get better yet, no trace of a single human the whole entire island. Above on an overhang along the shore black, small paws clawed the wet earth. Tala, a young dog, two years in age. He fur pure black, a white streak going from her neak down, and on he back two toes of her left leg, spots of white shown. She looked just like her mother, a lovley collie, but the spirit of her dead father, a strong Lab. Thats what they always said. Though she felt nothing like them in reseblance.
A coward? She thought sitting on the wet grass over looking the vast waves. Wondering if they could ever see off of the lone island. Nothing was here, ruins, and dogs. That was pretty much all. She lived off of the island, seeking shelter in abandoned places, eating from their rotten food and garbage that had already been picked away. Sure dogs could hunt, but they also needed somthing to thrive off of too. The island seemed like a dead figure in the distance, never to return.
Tala stepped up, she jumped off of the overhang she was perched on, and onto the beach. Her paws sunk in, leaving a musky trail. Lonliness and hunger caught her as she set her foot into the sea looking out. What if I tried to swim, all that way? I would die... She though, aching to explore the world. Tala didnt even know what was beyond the sea, maybe nothing, this could be the only place in the world. Maybe if you swam far enough you'd fall of the edge of the whole universe. Nobody knew, Tala was cirious though and always thought about it on her spare time. Though some of the elders iin the villagrs pass down stories. Some say before, long long ago. These creatures thived with us, we were their companions. The walked tall on their two hind legs, and they had no tail like we do. What became of them?
All of these thoughs ran through her mind in deep though, she felt a presence among her comming closer. Tala didn't notice it though, lost at the shore line.
