A deep roll of thunder crossed the skies, a flash of lightening waltzing through Bullet's vision. His large, cropped thorns pricked at the noise, twisting to sense where it was coming from. One one thousand, two one thousand... Another bolt of lightening entered his vision, like a lost flare. Thunder beat the skies, crackling like flames on wet fuel. Another flash of lightening brought the red hot blaze of a fire, and Bullet stared forward, observing the burning tree with curiosity. A few raindrops sprinkled down, then came the torrential downpour.
Bullet didn't mind, he was too fascinated with the sizzlign fire to be bothered with being drenched. After all, no one was around to tell him to get out of the water, no one was there or boss of him to tell him that he couldn't stand around like an idiot, trying to make sense of the world. All they would be able to tell him was that he was weird, a true freak of nature when it came down to it. But then again, there was no one around to tell him these things, and Bullet wasn't expecting anyone to come anytime soon.

sinaed was just wandering as she normally did, it didnt supprise her when it started to rain, she watched the lightning in awe, she always thought it looked pretty, she watched it strike the ground a mile away, and orange glow seemed to appear from the ground, she guessed it was on fire, she picked up her feet and trotted towards the glow, her stumpy tail wagging, her long legs lifting high off the ground, her pointer nose picking up the scent, as she drew closer she picked up the scent of a male dog, she slowed to a walk and cautiously picked her way towards the blaze and the place in which the scent was coming, she padded closer until she could see the other dog, she watched him for a moment, her head cocked cutely on one side and her floppy harks pricked, her large hazel eyes focussed on him, he seemed to be mezmerized by the blaze of the fire, she couldnt quite work him out, she sat down, her head still cocked, she sat there dripping wet, she wouldnt have minded so much if the rain wasnt cold, but as a matter of fact it was and she was freezing, she soon started to shiver, but she didnt move any closer to the male, she had no clue who he was and whether he would attack her, but neither did she move away, he was kind of intriguing, and being very curious, sinaed stayed sat where she was shivering

Bullet sensed another's presence, and turned to find a female sitting not ten feet away form where his own haunches were placed upon the ground. He saw that she was indeed very cold, he could almost hear her teeth chattering from where he sat. "A little cold, dear?" A smile widened across the great dane's face, his pearly white fangs glittering in the orange spark of the blaze. Another jolt of lightening lit up his face, illuminating the female's face, too. She was a pretty vixen, with a narrow body and beautiful chocolate eyes. Bullet resisted the urge to move his massive body over and warm her. "You can sit closer to the fire and get warmer, you know." Bullet really just wanted her next to him, where he could keep a close eye on her and make sure she didn't slip away. "Or you could just come snuggle next to me. I don't bite, I assure you." Bullet's smile softened, and his mouth opened once more to speak. "I'm Bullet. You?" A quick bow brought him up and less than three feet away from her, staring into her eyes with his own orbs. She was beautiful, and Bullet knew she would be his soon enough.

(just lettin you know, my german accent is rubbish when i am writting, lol)
She smiled, she got up and padded over and sat herself down by the fire, glad that she could, but she didnt sit too close to him, still unsure of him, she looked at him "Sinaed" she said "yes, i is kalt" she added with a little shivver "zo Bullet, vat are you doing out ere in da rain?" she asked looking up and the black clouds above just as another bolt of lighting forked down in the distance, she blinked her large deep hazel eyes at him, she noticed how much bigger he was than her, and she wasnt exactly small, he was very muscular but had a soft face, she relaxed a little and smiled sweetly, she cocked her head cutely on one side, her floppy hound harks pricked as much as they could be, her salmon pink tongue hanging out of her mouth, her stumpy tail slowy wagged backwards and forwards, she sighed happily and lay down, the heat of the fire was now begining to warm her up, she still looked at bullet, head cutely cocked

(Lol, it's fine. I have another character in a book I'm writing with a German accent. It isn't really working too well, so I switched to French! An accent makes anybody cuter, anyways.)
Bullet smiled when the female began to speak, her accent was just as intriguing as her figure. Her colors became more apparent in the warm glare of the fire, and Bullet clearly saw that she was of his age or so. "I stand here in the rain because no one tells me I can't, do they?" Bullet turned to face the blaze once more, the heat reaching his face, even though he was more than ten feet away from it. A step closer and he became even more engulfed in heat, and he had to step back again because of the intensity of it. Usually, flames didn't cause any pain to Bullet, but as a spark flew of off the embers, he realized otherwise. The spark landed upon his shoulder, and he winced, trying to ignore the pain that was growing on his body. The spark was out, of course, but it was still searing hot, and Bullet had to step into an open space to have the rain wash it off.

she just smiled at his comment "vat if i said you cant?" she ventured with a slight flirt in her voice, when the spark landed on his shoulder, she couldnt help but feel for him, she was bored and although the ground was wet she rolled onto her back all the same, looking at bullet from her upside down position, her tail wagging, her large hazel eyes connecting with his, his eyes were warm, friendly and safe, but to her they also seemed very loving, she couldnt help but stare into them, all these years of independance and freedom, she now realised she felt lonely and had no one, she sighed and rolled back onto her stomach "zo, vere are you vom?" she asked, he certainly didnt look like he was from around here, and she certaily wasnt, she came here from germany as a pup after running away from home, she grew up here by herself and although she had lived here for nearly 5 years, her german accent still rang strong, her pointer body was slim yet muscular, she was mostly white with liver speckles, she looked at bullet, awaiting his answer and tail wagging

A smile tugged at his face once more, the burning in his shoulders disappearing all at once as she spoke. "I might have to do something about it if you did." His voice was low, and his eyes bored into hers. Rain continued to fall upon them, the sky still darkening with the current storm. He loved this weather, wished it would be everyday he was alive. Rain meant more time indoors, and more time indoors meant more time bored, and more time bored meant more time spent with females....
Bullet shook his head wildly, angry at himself for having the thought in the first place. "Here and there. I don't really know exactly where I was born, parents never told me. And plus, I can't read the signs that mark where we are. I know where I have been from other dogs, gangs I have been apart of and dispatched from." Bullet wasn't lying, he could read some words, but not all, and could easily dipict pictures of their meanings. It was longer, more elaborate words that he couldn't read, short and simple was his style. Names were sometimes a problem, but not usually, and he could read the name Bullet from afar, no matter where he was. It was only natural, of course.

she listened intently, sitting quietly until he had finished speaking, she smiled, "i is vom germany, my pack vas a mix of light und dark, eventually they ripped each other apart, zo i got out of zere quick, i came ere ven i vas only 8 months alt, i av lived ere ever sinse, viv only myself for company" she let out a sad sigh and looked at the ground, a stray tear trickled down her soft liver and white face as she remembered watching her mother, father and siblings being killed by other members of the pack, she was the only one to survive out of her family that day, she looked away trying to hide her sadness from bullet, she wriggled closer to the fire, wanting to stay close to it, for warmth, comfort and protection, she lay down and placed her head on her paws, her deep hazel eyes gazing in the blaze, letting it mezmorize her mind and take control, after a short while her tensed body started to relax, but she couldnt get the pictures in her mind out, she had tried so many times to forget it, tried several different ways, but nothing seemed to have worked, all that was on her mind was what happened in germany nearly 5 years ago
