||Crate Fell Meeting||

||Skylar’s white fur was moving ever so slightly as a breeze passed through the market. Padding along the old deserted market was quiet and somewhat boring. She hadn’t seen any dogs lately, which made her kind of worried and on edge. Her ears were raised in alert as she jumped onto a crate then bounding to another one as she started to play a little. It was uncommon for her to do so…and she then soon stopped hoping no dog had seen what she had just been doing. Playing was not in her nature…never had never would be she guessed. As Skylar walked the crates she heard the rummage of a rat, which ran at her presence. Sigh. They always ran from her sight…even though Skylar hated the taste of rat. Ehh they tasted nasty! As she continued along she heard a crate fall, her ears twitching at the sound, her hackles rose and she looked at where they toppled over crate had fallen. She did not see a dog there, but was sure there was one. As she crouched closer to the cold concrete, she flickered her tail somewhat nervously. She hated not knowing. Skylar’s hackles stayed for up as she rounded the corner coming face to face with the other dog there.||

A small growl came from the male as he held his ground against the female in his face. His eyes held her a moment, his muscels untensed and he relaxed a little. He would not speak, but only hold her stare for her to say somthing, his ears perked a bit as he waited, the silence seemed to last forever, it lasted well past his fur lying down from where it had stood on end. He shook his fluffy pelt and watched the female curiosely. Would she speak to him? Or would she run? He could only wonder, but if she ran, he'd run after her, and if she still didnt talk he suposed he could, he shook himself bringing his wandering thoughts of the future back to the present, his jaw slowly opened as he suposed he could make an acception and speak to her. "Who are you?" his question was gruff and he expected an answer, but his eyes were soft and calm, reasuring. She seemed nice enough but he didnt want her to go screaming and have a bunch of dogs on him in a minute. He was tired and couldnt fight at the moment. His white and russet fur blew in the wind, his pale blue eyes remained locked upon the female.

||Skylar had been frozen in her spot, then quickly jumped back and growled back gently. She was the quiet type alright...she didnt want to talk and was going to leave when he asked her who she was. Her orbs went darker and she in a little chime of a voice answered. "I am Skylar...Skylar moon." she then looked at him and made an attempt to smile. She wasnt sure if this dog was friendly or not, he looked tough and she didnt want to push her luck since she was out of energy and was starving. She blinked and then laid down, her pelt getting a little dirty. "And who..might you be?"||

"Ricochet...Just Ricochet" he said looking at her. He smiled back responding to her smiled, he sat, watching her closely. She seemed alright to him. He knew if she attacked he could hold his own, he was a little larger then her. His eyes closed a moment. Then shooting open he looked back down. "What brings a female like you in these parts?" he asked softly. His voice not the grough demanding tone it had been when he first spoke. Now he was in a conversational tone. His tail itched to wag but he held it still by sitting upon it. He did not want to seem to to happy infront of the female. Though secretly he had hoped to meet a female somewhere and now he had, but he didnt know if she was looking, and he would not press this thought upon her, maybe when he knew her better...shaking himself he thought, there I go again, thinking about the future when I should be in the present.

||"Ricochet...nice name" she said and kept her spot laying there. She covered her nose as a fly landed on it, scratching it away. She looked at him and slumped her shoulder blades. "Well...I am kinda looking for someone...to be with." she sighed and then shook her head. 'Why are you telling this to him?!' she thought to herself, looking down now. She kept her gaze on the ground for a while then looked back up at him. "Cause...I'm alone..." Agian why was she telling him this. It was mostly cause she had a feeling he was nice and that she also hadnt talked to a normal dog in so long. She grumbled and put her head on her paws, slightly cute.||

A smile came upon his lips, his eyes sparkled his heart lept. As she lay her head down his smile grew, she was pretty,very pretty. "I..Uh me too" he said softly, if dogs could blush he'd be brighter then a tomato. He felt the heat beneath his russet and snow fur. His blue eyes scanning her face. "Perhaps you would like to..take a walk?" he asked softly. He stood and shook the dirt from his soft pelt, letting it form dust clouds in the air. He caughed a little, the area was very very dusty. "How about it?" he asked, his voice,eyes and heart filling with hope, maybe she was his one. He licked his lips a bit, feeling his stomach rumble but he didnt want to find food just yet. His eyes remained softly upon the figure of Skylar, still laying down. He patiently waited for her to rise and answer.

||She raised her head and tilted her head, "Walk? Sure...its to eh here..." she said standing and shaking out her fluffy satin white fur out. She stretched, yawning a little. She padded slightly over to him and heard his stomach rumble. "You are hungery too I take it." she laughed alittle and then shivered when the slight breeze went past them. She was being really shy. "So..where...to?" she asked looking at the ground now, her tail wagging back and forth slowly.||

"Where ever...To everywhere and anywhere" he spoke softly, as he began forwards. "A little" he said softly. "But not too bad.. I can wait to eat" he said softly. She seemed to be the only dog he ever felt like talking too. "So..um...Tell me of your Life?" he asked her softly. Of course he hoped she knew she didnt have to unless she felt like she wanted too. He was worried about her feeling comfortable. He had never had anything close to a relationship and when he might be getting one he didnt want to screw things up and shrink back into a life of lonsome and despair. He sighed looking to the sky, it was very beautiful,he let the wind slap his face and ruffle his fur. With a sigh he looked back at her, a small smile appearing as he did, his tail slowly began to wag.

||Skylar nodded to him gently, she kept her gaze on the ground as her new emotions formed. She didnt want to push her luck though...by asking if he liked her or not. But she answered his question. "Its still being written my friend, but from what I have so far...I dont want anyone else to have as a past." She paused remembering the cold nights alone from her past, a shiver ran down her spine and she then sputtered up agian. "Well when I was born, my mother and father left me to die...I dont know why...but they did. Ever since then I have been working on everything I do... to prove to myself that it was wrong from the to leave me...alone like that." She stopped and shook her head. "Thats all really...I've been attacked, and I've won my share of fights..." she looked at him and smiled back. "What about your story?"||

"Well Yes thats a terrible thing. I would never do that to a pup of my own" he said thoughtfully. Ricochet looked at her and smiled slightly. "I was young, just shy a year and I witnessed my mother and father being killed to protect me and my brother, my brother jumped in the fight and was killed, but I..Now I ran like crazey. Letting my tiny legs take me as far as they could away from that horrible scene. I began to roam and scavage for food, all on my own, I too had my share of fights, my share of wins,and losses."he said with a small smile at her. "And I now have my share of scars" he spoke gently, remembering the dog the nearly ripped his leg off,there was a scar all the way down his front leg.Then he let himself slide from past to future. Thinking of if they had puppies, he would never let them get hurt. Then shaking he went right back to present.

||Skylar looked at him, saddened that his parents and brother had died like that. She shook her head. "If I ever have pups...I would do the same thing...give my life for theirs, unlike my parents." she said looking now at the ground. She yawned slightly, moving closer to him. She brushed up agianst him, only for a second then backed off. "Sorry." she explained and then kept walking her gaze glued to the ground.||

A smile pressed itself upon his face. A shock like feeling ran through him at her touch. He smiled yet again. "Dont Be Sorry" he said softly as he pressed himself upon her, letting their fur mingle together. He looked down at her, he had the sudden urge to lick her cheek, he did so, feeling the warmth of embaressment spread through him like a dissease, he looked away embaressed, he hoped she didnt mind. He liked her alot. "I would too, But also I would fight for you..er um... My mate..." he said yet again embaressing himself, he looked at the ground not looking up. ~Oh god dont tell me I screwed things up?! Grrr why cant I think before I talk, I probably scared her half to death just now!!!~ he thought embaressed and fuming mad at himself.

||Skylar's orbs traveled to him as he rubbed agianst her, she shivered slightly at the feeling. His warmth half transfered to her. She enjoyed his warmth now. She sighed then looked down. As he licked her cheek, she started to get the feeling of being more shy. She looked at him then away. As he said what he said, she caught the 'you' part and stared dumbfounded at him. "You...you like me?" she aseked studdering some||

Ricochet looked at her, he stared straight into her eyes. "Yes...And if I scared you or something I'll leave if you want....." he said only hoping she wanted him to stay. He really did like her, alot. He looked away and down at the ground, now he felt shy, embaressed, and angry with himself. He sighed deeply, thinking maybe she did want him to leave, or maybe she wanted him to stay...he felt a little spark of hope as he waited for her to answer.

||She stood still for a second. Still dumbfounded, but still funtionable that she formed the sentence. "Stay...I'l b...be okay." she studdered agian. She only studdered when she was shy and shocked. This time it was worse...cause it was both. She looked down at the ground, the nat him, returning once more to the view of the ground. "Out of all dogs...why me?" she whispered slightly confused still. No body had every loved her...ever. She shook her head thinking it might be a dream...or a joke.||
