Sheari was in a particularly bad mood at the moment. All she wanted to do was push someone off the cliff she stood on. Her eyes burned with the rage she felt. Nothing had happened to set her off. She had just looked in a different direction and all of a sudden she was completely irked. It's not an unusual thing for her to be mad. Oh, no. Not at all. Her bi-polar self is constantly changing personalities.

The sun was just beginning to set and all Sheari did was scowl at the beautiful array of colors. The ocean reflected the sight, making it all the more dazzling. The fem just cursed under he breath and turned away. Some little critter scampered up to her and curiously looked up. Sheari bent herself to the ground and said one word the it. "Boo." The creature spun and headed for cover. The Basenji cackled, alight of amusement in her eyes. Only for a moment though. She switched back to her angered behavior as soon as she stopped laughing.

Sheari positioned herself at the very edge of the drop-off. So close the claws on her front paws hung off the edge. She snarled loudly, sinking lower to the ground. If someone just looked at her they probably would've sworn she was about to leap. This fem was smarter than that, though. She wasn't even considering impaling herself on the sharp rocks below. Slowly she stepped backwards, a scowl painted on her maw.

The tan dog stopped backing, several yards from the cliff's edge. She was still very irate and agitated. Her pelt was bristling. She pitied the soul who decided to approach her while she was in this state. She figured they might as well come. Her mood would make for some... interesting conversation at the very least.

A faded paw kissed the grass as Tragedy padded along the top of the cliff. A rock broke away from the cliffside as a claw clacked over the edge. He was quick to dart away from the edge, even though it didn't matter if he fell. A ghost didn't need to worry about hurting itself. He'd been dead for eighty years, all of which were spent learning the do's and don'ts of the afterlife. He had not really spoken to anyone in the eighty years since the humans were driven away. He'd only ever attempted to join a pack once as the canines never accepted him in. They felt that as ghosts could not harm anyone or get harmed he had an advantage over all of them, and couldn't be accepted. This had left him wondering if he should ever try again.

His death had not been a pretty one. He had been mistreated most of his life. Then, his owner left him for dead in a house fire which he escaped from, scientists taking him to their laboratory. They conducted experiments on him which left him with only three paws and four legs. A coke can was attached to the end of his leg where the paw was meant to be. After that, he couldn't walk properly so the scientists decided he was no use and threw him off the cliff into the sea. Since then he had roamed the cliffside, for eighty years. He had only ever left once, to go join a pack, which he wasn't accepted into.

A plume of spray lashed at the cliffside, attempting to erode the cliff. Another rockfall sent stones plummeting down to smash into the ocean. He danced away once again, then pricked his ears as he heard the sound of a fem's voice. He sighed and picked up the pace, soon coming in sight of the dog. He stopped and approached slowly and quietly. As he drew closer he stopped and sat on his haunches a little way away.

'Good day, fem. I'm Tragedy. May I know your name or would you prefer to keep quiet?'
