I sniffed the air as several scents entered my nose. I knew this was nothing like home, but there was lots of food here. It was much easier than trying to hunt and starve for days on end.
"Oh, what it would be like to have a mate and show pa how much I've grown," I thought to myself.
My big black paws moved in sync with each other. Left right left right. I passed by a hunk of meat that was definitely rotten, but I didn't care. I threw it up in the air and caught it in my mouth. I took a couple bites and swallowed. Then I continued to walk. There were big human things ahead of me. One had a curve on the front and then there was where the human would have sat.
I ran over to it and jumped up into it. There were strange things in front of me. I found that if I pushed them with my snout, they'd move. I chuckled and made up a game. If you couldn't push the sticks in less than six bird chirps, you got a point. If you get five points, you lose.
So far, I'd lost two games. I finally got bored and jumped down out of the thing. Suddenly, I picked up the scent of another dog amongst all the other smells.

A female border collie wandered through all the human waste, thinking of nothing in particular. She stumbled upon a large bird that had been killed by what she assumed was a young, bored dog no more than a day ago. The smell of the meat brought her hunger to her attention, and she did not hesitate as she munched on the small piece of food. She finished rather quickly, having not eaten since yesterday morning. She had no desire to go looking for something else to eat in this junkyard, so she continued wandering; stopping to sniff each odd thing she passed.
A couple of minutes had passed before a giant metal object came into view. She had seen one of those before, but it was different. They all seemed to be different, though she didn’t really care why. She sniffed the air to make sure she was alone, but she caught the scent of another dog. She froze, standing still, still smelling the air to see if the dog was alone. It was. She was relieved, but she still wasn’t sure if the dog wanted to hurt her or not. She figured she would run if it did, having no desire to get into a fight at that particular moment. She sat and waited to see what the other dog would do.

OOC: Sorry it took so long!
I stood and watched the female dog. She approached me and then she laid down. I smiled at her slyly and then walked over to her. I sniffed her muzzle and then licked it in greeting. I walked around her and studied her figure. She seemed to be in shape. I sat down in front of her.
"So, what are you doing out here? Especially all alone? You know there are big, bad dogs out here." I chuckled to myself. She was a very pretty female dog. I thought I should mention the new part of my life, but I'd figure that I'd wait until we got to know each other a little better.
"Oh, and by the way, my name is Warrior. And you are...?" I jumped up and pounced on her. I felt like playing. I rolled around in the dirt and then started to run. There was a fence and I ran along side of it. The wind in my face, the sun on my back, the sounds in my ears gave me pleasure. I skidded to a halt and turned around. I faced her and howled, as it was in my blood.
"Are you coming or not?"
