The woods were dark over her ginger colored head. The female was lying down at the edge of a deep and solitary forest. Novembre had not dared to enter as she could see it was empty. No use in extending her search where she was sure not to find a living creature. After all, the many bones littering the ground were kind of a giveaway for a long time graveyard. Maybe not for the most intelligent of all living creatures but for those stupid enough to set foot in such a deserted environment. Her deep brown eyes were scrutinizing the land in front of her as the forest was behind her. The hybrid cared little for one that could come from the forest. The ones in front were more intriguing. Novembre had her front paws crossed in a relaxed pose, which would prove to be hard to get out of if she had to move fast. Her fluffy orange fur was spread around her by the chilly autumn wind.
'Wonder who could be out there if indeed dogs are still out there. That I am not the only one left as I was led to believe from the lack of others I encountered.' She thought to herself.
Maybe today she would be proven wrong and another dog would have scented her. She did not care either way, but now would be a good time to start her own family as her forefathers had done before her. She would probably fill their little heads with thoughts of greatness and arrogance but that was another matter. There was the little fact that she was not one easy to get along with that didn't help.

Nightmare's paws bounced as he made his way into the Sinister Woods. Twin malarkies were raised on either side of his head. Blue orbs scanning around, enjoying the woods. This place was rather creepy but he still enjoyed coming here. It was dark like him. The wolf hybrid's nose twitched. A few bitches had come through here earlier and he found there was a most recent one. His tail hung up, slightly curling over his back, swaying with the motion of his trot. Lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his bottom two canines as he panted slightly.
Pads left perfect impressions behind in the dirt. Above the sky was a battleship grey color, fluffy white clouds drifted lazily across the sky. A few birds had taken flight, their bodies contrasted against the grey. He stopped for a moment and watched them, briefly marveling at the way their bodies worked. He wished he could fly like that. Smirking, he presed on ward, intent on finding the bitch that had passed through here recently. As he rounded the path, he spied her. She was a orange color, looking more like an akita mix. Smirking he padded toward her, and planted his rump on the ground, forlegs coming around to the front of his chest, keeping his upper body erect. Twin harks rotated forward, showing her respect and attention. He began speaking to her.
"Hello there vixen. I'm Nightmare. What brings you out here on a day like this?" he spoke in a soft but flirty tone.
A chilly breeze whipped patches of his grey and white mixed fur around in several directions but he didnt' care. He loved the cold and enjoyed being out there. He waited.

Before her eyes could discern the form of the approaching brute, her delicate triangular ears had picked up the trot of another being. The pawfalls were too soft for her to hear from afar so the other was quite near when she noticed him. She wasn't surprised though as she had expected to run into someone's territory one day. The female turned her dark and icy glare upon the grey white and black male fast approaching. She held no more interest for him than she would for any other dog. Meaning close to none. She could tell he was at least part wolf from the built and coat alone. She tilted her head a little to the side in cold interest. When he came close enough, she inclined her head in a perceived greeting, prefering her voice to stay unheard for now. In a manner she found quite bold, he simply sat close to her while she would have prefered he stay just a little bit farther. Novembre didn't think much of the male as her dispproving glance told aplenty.
''I am Novembre and I am searching for companions.'' She told simply without a trace of even the slightest emotions.
The orange female shifted until her body was in a relaxed but alert pose, ready to leave if the brute proved to be too annoying for the little patience she had with idiots. He had used a flirty tone after all and that was just a little out of her book. She wasn't an easy vixen to win over, he would need to use more than sweet words.

Nightmare noticed the disapproving look she gave him for sitting so close to her so that only irked him to scoot even more closer.
"Well now, it must be hard finding companions with that stick up your ass" Nightmare said coldly as he felt an itch forming on his neck as he raised his hind leg and began kicking at the spot. He leaned into the scratching as his fur jiggled slightly from the force of his hind leg kicking.
"Every time you turn around someone get smacked with it," he said as he finished scratching and lowered his hind leg. He found he liked irking this female now, being as she was a pure bitch. Nightmare was only trying to be friendly and this was how she was responding to him?
Well the thing about Nightmare is he has two sides...A-A flirty side which he loves flirting with the females and B-the sinister side which he loves irking someone just for the hell of it. She was falling into the B category at this time. Another chilly breeze whipped his fur in several directions as he regarded the female before him.
"I suggest getting it removed before it lands you in trouble," Nightmare said smoothly but frigidly.
At this point he wondered about actually starting a conversation with her if she wasn't going to be atleast civilized. Nightmare pulled himself up onto all fours and spread his legs, giving his body a rigorous shake, ears flapping against his skull. True, she was just a regular female, nothing special in his eyes basing it looks. Nightmare was superficial as well. Judging females based on their looks. Hell if she was halfway civilized he might actually offer her friendship...but it didn't look that way now.

If Novembre had had an eyebrow to raise up into her hairline into a very 'You're finished now?' and very condescending look, she would have. Insults and attacks to her pride were consdtants when she had lived with her brothers, the fiesty kids that they were. She was used to nasty, venom filled and degrading comments. It barely fazed her although it just pitched oil on her natural base of utter rage that allways simmered in the bottom of her soul, well hidden beneath a thick layer of ice.
''I would like to remind you that I at least do not possess a superior amount of fleas.''
She wondered, as she watched him scratch the patch of fur that itched if he really had fleas. She just presumed he did because he now had proven to her he was annoying. Everyone knew that annoying good for nothing dogs had fleas. She stood and looked him over for a few seconds.
''I might have something stuck up my behind but I at least can find my own ass whereas I doubt you can with you inferior intellect.'' She replied as coldly as he had talked to her.
Her words had stayed in the polite range without the use of swear words and degrading words although she had just insulted his intelligence.
''Now that we are done with the compulsory insulting.'' She said with a tiny amount of amusement in her voice. ''Shall I return the question you asked me? What brings your wonderful self here?''

Nightmare laughed so hard his chest was heaving. He listened to her words and responded.
"Well m'dear give it time and you too will be infested with fleas since you are a stray," he smirked coldly and then responded. "OMG STOP! You're using TOO BIG OF WORDS!"
He proclaimed mockingly as his sides shook with mocking laughter. Eventually stopping the insults, he listened to her words about why he was there.
"I com here sometimes out of boredome," he shrugged a furry shoulder. "Sometimes I dont have a reason for doing things I just do them. Mind you they might not alwyas be 'pure'." He said winking at her and then lowered his belly down onto teh sand, letting the hot tawny texture touch his abdomen. His forelegs stretched out in front of him as he regarded her. She had a bit of amusement now in her expression, so Nightmare softened his a bit as well.
"And are you really out here seeking companions?" he asked curiously cocking his head to the side a bit in a curious manner. His blue eyes caught the sunlight, makign them appear almost a glowing blue color. Nose twitched, picking up the scent of her again. Her ginger fur fluttered in the breeze softly as did his own two colored fur. His tail thumpd against the sand behind him, sweeping a bit across, creating small sand clouds. His own fur was grainy with the texture from the tawny sand itself. His bue eyes were locked on hers.
"This is rather a strange place to find some friends. Mostly we head into the city where the large amounts of dogs are," he said in a calm tone as he patiently waited.
