The waves crashed against the beach shore slowly eroding the sand away. Twilight soon settling into the sky making colors of blue, green, and red off of the brutes fur. His eyes searching the area padding along the beach shore; each step he took into the night another day into his life. The sparkling blue liquid faded as twilight moved into the night. His paw prints dissapering as soon as the waves hit the shore line. His dark tan color fur was long and his head a lighter color. He was a handsome brute; well he thought he was. The sweet smell of salt water and it makes a perfect spot to relaxe and watch the waves crash into the shore and leave out back into the ocean.
He slowed his pace to a walk and the sand sticking to the pads on his feet. The gleaming stars in the night sky helped light the way and the moon was like a huge night light. An evil smirk creeped upon his face as his toung lolled out of his mouth; he started to run and speed up. He was paticularly fast. He found a good spot by the edge to lay down and rest for the night. He lay down and yawned. His huge white fangs sparkled as the moon light reflected off of them. He put his head on his paws but scented another. He pricked his ears and a waited his guest for the night.

The night was beautiful, the sky an array of periwinkle, orange creams and deep, soothing navy. It was gorgeous, one that should be gazed at, appreciated in all it's natural beauty. The stars twinkled like tiny dancers, blinking merrily in a delightful little symphony. It was wonderful, and all over the city, canines paused to admire. However, Haven was not among them, having become distracted within seconds, heading off across the sidewalks at a brisk, urgent pace.
The crashing, beckoning waves of Contempt Beach called desperately for her presence, muscles itching, insides vibrating with the sheer want that drove her. Movements were swift, graceful but impatient, gliding along at a smooth pace until concrete sifted into the welcoming kiss of sands beneath paws. Legs soon propelled the femme faster, muscles churning in desperate, feverish strokes beneath the lengthy, onyx hued coat, practically flying by now as the youth launched herself down the sprawl of beach. Already filled with exhileration, air whistling through lungs, blood stream coursing with excitement and life. It felt so good, the wind sending silky, fringed auds flapping, chocolatey brown gaze narrowed against the increasing tempo.
The shore was illuminated, mirroring the inky sky and it's classic collection of stars, casting irredscent beading across the crashing waves. Heart beat eccellerated excitedly as the lithe female flung herself into the shifting waters; the liquid stretched for her, as if it welcomed her, hugging her petite frame in a cool, calming embrace. As a Spaniel, this was what she lived for, what completed her and no night could end happily within a dip in the ocean, no matter how cold. Delving beneath the surface and plummeting along the pebbly earth, wading into the waters and ignoring the frigid chill that gripped and tightened muscles to the extent of physical pain. Blinking the scorching salt water from eyes, skull was shaken, flipping the streams of salty droplets from line of visions. Releasing a pent up laugh that rung merrily from vocals, Haven headed back to shore, shaking and trembling, sending beads of water flying in all directions. With a heavy sigh, the femme collapsed, contented in the sands, completely oblivious to the male that lounged only a few feet away.
Slowly, nostrils began to pick up upon the heavy, musty scent that indicated a male. Head lifted, staring into the increasing darkness, voice holding a ring of insecurity as it called tentatively; "Hi?"

He glared at the fae. He was in his "okay" moods. He sat up on his hunches and padded over to where the female was sitting. He stared at her for a minute then let his gaze drop. Her scent inflamed his nostriles and spoke calmly and softly to her, "So what brings you here?" his harsh brown orbs gazing upon her. He sat on his hunches and waited for her to talk. "Well my name is Kovu." he said grinning. His cold brown eyes became soft with kindness. He lay down and pricked his ears. The sounds of the waves were soothing.
The night sky painted with greens, blues, and purples mixed made a beautiful sceen and the stares up above were amazing. The moon's relection was magnificent in the water. The only thing that was ruining it were the waves crashing into the sandy shore. The smell of salt and water mixed together made him thirsty but he would not dare to drink the ocean water. The smile still planted firmly on Kovu's face he put his head on his paws watching the night sky above as the moonlight was not as bright as the sn he could gaze at it forever.
