She quivvered as she moved over the strange land. The thickness of night clouded her senses, leaving her at the mercy of anything that came upon her frail bod. She moved at a slow gait, her heavy barrel pulling her downwards. The contractions hit her harder than anything she'd known, but she forced herself to stay up. She wasn't going to go down, not now, not ever. She was stronger than this, and always would be. But this was more than she could take.
A scream escaped her, and she regretted it immediately as she fell crookedly to the ground. The cloves broke her fall, but didn't stop pain from being recieved. A spark of acid struck through her left shoulder, causing a blinding rage effect to blast behind her liquid pools. But she uttered nothing but a snort. That pain, she could stand. But what was circling her hindquarters...
Another hoarse call echoed out from her vocal cords, dapple grey nape twisting around to see what prize she'd found...A small babe. Ah, it was worth it. The sight of the little bundle of skin and gawky appendages made her day. Right then and there, a tear streamed from her chocolatey gaze. She'd told herself she'd never cry again, but the birth of her first youngling brought the cursed crystal droplets to her eyes, and made them fall over her lids.
Standing, she moved to the babe, but drew back at once as her sensetive nose touched the scruffling. Ice. Twas the only thing she could describe the temperature of the small filly as. Apparently this pup had been dead for a while, and had waited before entering the living. But she'd never take a breath, and never look up and call out to her guardian mother. Never. Twas never to be possible for the banshee to be a mother. Not now. Never. Cursed twas her soul, cursed it shall remain.
Yet this wasn't over. Not by a long shot. She felt another pulse of a contraction grip her side with such force it brought her to her knees. She let out a bloody scream, the pain of this more than anything she'd felt before, even the first birth. Though her abdomen screamed to be kicked and eased of the soul within, she did nothing to harm her babe. She rolled onto her side, allowing her nape to stretch out and her gaze to float upwards. Dark clouds moved lazily overhead, stretching over from one side of the terrain to the next, no crease between them.
A sigh escaped her. The pain had left long ago, but she hadn't done anything but lay there. And then a bump had come to her flank. She figured it was just a fly, so she merely swished her tail. A squeak awakened her from her drifting thoughts, brought her back to see that she was still under the dark sky, and behind her, a beautiful baby. Immediately she rose and faced her babe.
The pup had already stood, and watched its dam with such curiousity it seemed a sin. Yet this precious being was nothing of the cursed, but of the realm of the beautiful. Yes, he'd been born in a place out of his alliance, but the deep fire within his heart would ignite in no time, and a true beast would be unleashed. Oh, the stories he could tell. But twas only a matter of time before they were picked up, and passed on by another. No matter. The only thing that mattered were the two standing here...
A mother and her babe, a beau.

Her paws left prints in the cold moist dirt as she walk in the forest. Her toung lolled out of her mouth and her eyes searched the area for a quick snack before countinuing to the spring. Her eyes gleamed as the hot sun beath down on the fae and her coat of different colors. The leaves shook as a gust of wind past by and the dead leave falling. The beauitful colors of the leaves the reds, yellows, and oranges were amzing to look at. Her fur moved along with the rythem of the wind as it pasted by. Hey eyes opened wide as she saw a deer that had already been taken down and eaten off of. She bite into the meat and savored every bite of it. The blood rushing down her fangs and slavoring at the mouth she took a few more bites before heading on to the spring.
Her claws bared out she dug them into the ground as she walks into the grass. She could see the sprind by now and slowly laped up the water sending ripp;es across the spring. She looked up and another scent inflamed her nose. She lifted her head and pricked her ears and looked around and found the other. By the smell it was a ae like herself. She walked over to her and sat on her hunches waiting for the other dog to talk.

A whimper. She'd heard it from her babe. He'd uttered the lovely noise, and she returned it. How long had it been since she'd issued the sweet sound? A while. She'd only let herself growl and snarl harsh comments. That was going to change. Quickly. She whimpered again, enjoying how it sounded. She savored it, and licked her son's forehead. A name. Ah, he needed a name. Yet what would she called him? What gift would she give her son? Insanity twas her name, so what would be his? Mental. Yes. Mental Ignorance. No. Just...Mental.
Mental.
My first son.
My second babe.
I love you.
I love you too, mommy.
She could almost heard her son speak these words with a deep, rumbling voice. But she heard nothing. No. She heard only the sweet sound of leaves crunching under small paws. Wait. WHAT? Immediately Insanity whipped around, to see a petite banshee sitting back on her haunches closeby. Surely this wench knew the dangers of being near a new mother, let alone a first time mother. Never the less, she would be terminated.
Insanity drew herself up, lowering her nape defensively, and pulling back her lips to reveal pearly daggers. A harsh growl escaped her throat, terrifyingly loud and deep from so much practice. She couldn't help but stand in front of her son, protecting him from a possible threat this wench might give.
State your calling, and intention.

She looked at the fae and her son and she smiled sweetly as the other shown her fangs defensivly to protect her son. "I was simply here to get a drnk of water then be on my way when i stubled upon you two." she calmly replied to her. She rolled on her back and offared her throat to show that she was the boss and Embersky was not a threat to her or her son. She whinned a little before rolling back over on her belly and watching the two. "By the way my name is Embersky but you can call me Ember for short." she said with a smile on her face. The Austrailan shepard smiled and her eyes sparkled as she put her head on her paws.
She put back her claws and sat up on her hunches as the young pup made small sounds. "So are you a first time mother?" she asked curiously raising a brow and then smiling again and she chuckled a bit reveling her flawless white teeth. They shinned as the sun reflected off of them as she keept her eye on the mother and her young pup in the distence. She layed down again and pricked her ears ready to listen to her.
