Night was settling fast over the tall blown out structure. Birds had calmed their siren cries to a slow melody that sang of sleep and comfort. Crickets began to rub together long lullaby's, stringing together passionate chords. No longer did the sky scream with bright shades of blue, rather it was streaked artistically with purples of royalty and reds of love. Shadow trembled on the concrete ground beneath the large building as wind swept debris and newly fallen leaves around in a chaotic current. Tonight brought with it a chill typical of early autumn. To accent the sites and feel of autumn smells of new vegetables and that occasional fall shower. Yes you can smell rain and for some reason in the fall it smells like heaven.
Now forget all of that lovely scene and focus on Kreios that mid sized scoundrel who was currently picking his way through the torrents of glass that littered the entrance to the building. Kreios was a prime example of selective breeding on the humans part. The buff dog was sleek yet muscular in appearance due to his genes. Part rottie and lab to attribute for the muscle and doberman to make the canine sleek. As night continued to slowly edge its long fingers into the sky Kreios began to blend in with it. A creature of the night was an accurate description of the mutt. A deranged lunatic plagued to wander the streets until power smacked him in the face.
Kreios had never really experienced any happiness in his five year life, nothing to give the boy some pep in his step so now he sulked through the blown out door frame his one ear remaining alert for the sounds of another creature. The sound of his pace fell odd as his front right foot didn't make a complete crunch on the glass. The arrogant male was missing his right front paw from a fight as a pup. But don't let yourself be fooled the dog still packs a powerful punch. Kreios has learned from his mistakes both by losing his left ear and that paw. The deranged canine makes for a hell of a character. Finally entering the building after what seemed ages the fifty pound dog pushed his nose tenderly to the cool marble smelling for dinner or perhaps another dog he could mess with.
A devious grin spread across the hungry dog's jowls as he made his way to a destroyed lounge area the old leather seats singed from fire and sagging from water damage. Someone had left a tasty morsel over in the corner and his keen nose had the scent. A fairly graceful gait brought the brute to stand over the bones of a rabbit. So not really a meal, but something to chew on and curb his appetite until a true pitch color took to the sky and ideal hunting was at its peak. Picking up the thin bone the dog made his way to the longest of the ruined couches and settled into its crackled hide. The normally full dog hadn't eaten in days as he eagerly set into slurping all the marrow from the bone's center. Grossly distracted by the bone Kreios let his guard down and his body relaxed, the muscles he normally held tight for action letting go of their tension.
Go ahead though see what happens when he gets a whiff of your scent. The dog has to eventually inhale air. For now however Kreios was perfectly content and his tongue lolled happily from his mouth as he laid his head to rotted cushion allowing its soft texture to coax him into a light dose. Kreios needed as much energy as he could muster tonight, he wanted food and he wanted a lot of it. Now all one could do was sneak up onto to the slumbering beast, but would they be in for a surprise.

CLICK FOR FULL PICTURE^ Carrie's golden paws bounced as she made her way into the WRTK building. Folded malarkies were raised on either side her skull, listening to the sounds the building made. While the building sustained a fairly good amount of damage, it was still stable and able to be 'lived' in. Her chocolate oculars were scanning around, taking in the entire interior. Some of the leather couches had tears in them and were hanging off in shreds. Her blades and pelvis rolled easily with each step, nails lightly clicking on the well polished floor. At one time, this building must've been magnificent. The floor now was dusty and grimey and a few tiles were broken and chipped. The chandalier still hung, but was dusty and covered in a lighter dust, which Carrie wasn't so sure she wanted to know exactly what that was. She paused briefly to look over it before continuing on. Her tail hung down between her back hocks, swaying slightly with the motion of the lope.
Her pads left imprints behind in the dust as she moved easily around a couch and a chair. This must've been the waiting area she wondered. She slipped into another room. There was a marble top counter that was high. Facing her was the back of a computer, and a few paper stacks that were now littering the ground. FRom the wind and breezes that had wafted through the building. Her paws stepped onto one of the paper sheets and she looked down at it. Across the top was the company logo, and a mans name across it underneath. Apparently, he'd been the president of the corporation or something. A strange feeling swept over Carrie. It was an omnious feeling like she was being watched. Her hackles rasied on her neck as she quickly tore her eyes off the paper and looked around behind her.
Naturally, there was no one there. She kept looking though, as to reassure herself that she wasnt' loosing her mind. She laughed alout at herself and then shook herself mentally. Get a grip Carrie! You're starting to stoop down to the lights level! she thought and pressed onward. Another room had several monitors in it. A glass visor was placed in front of it, overlooking another large room, with cameras and a back drop. Carrie slipped through here, for a moment imaginging what it would be like to be on camera. She smiled flirtily at the camera, but naturally it wasn't working. Her lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting between her bottom two canines. If it had been working, she would've been even more beautiful on camera. Who wouldn't imagine anyone disagreeing with that either.
She began snuffling along, picking up the scents of the past dogs that had come through here. A male had come here not too long ago. It was fresh. Smirking, she followed the scent. He was in one of the executive offices it appeared. The window behind the brute had been blown out and a breeze came in, teasing the blinds, making a rattling noise a bit. Carrie cautiously stepping into the office before planting her rump on the ground, forelegs coming around to the front of her chest, keeping her upper body erect. Malarkies raised on both sides of her head, orbs watching the brute. She spoke to him, in a soft but flirty tone.
"Hello there boyo. Enjoying your snooze?" she asked pulling back her violet lips in a doggy grin as her tongue lolled out the corner, lightly flapping as she panted. It wasn't all that hot out now, as the fall was rolling in. Carrie loved the winter time. It was better than the summer. Her tail began slowly waving behind her, sweeping over the ground. The office was thick with mahogany furniture. The desk was just as dusty as the rest of the building. The chair had bits of torn leather hanging off. The bookshelves were in disarray as a few books had fallen over. It was more than likely from the blast. Carrie watched the brute and waited.

Time fluttered under the eye lids of the wandering male as he gently slipped farther into a slumber. It was dangerous move in a city that was run by nasty dogs like himself. Not sure how long he had been out for a sultry silky voice hit his twin towers commanding him awake and deffensive. His hackles rose as a deep rumble escaped his deep chest. "Who the fuck are you?" The words came out dangerously as he nearly stumpled off the couch his muscles completely tense and ready for an attack. Granted he understood that the dog who stood in front of him was a female nothing was trusted by Kreios anymore, not after Calypso.
Ironic that the one dog Kreios had truely loved was named after the temptress greek god. In the end thats what she had proven to be a temptress nothing more than a heart breaker. Fate dealt her a harsh blow as Kreios had hunted her down and killed her after she reaked havok on his already unstable heart. Now he was dark and almost demonic. Spittle grabbed at the male's teeth as he began to approach the golden his eyes warily searching over her uncommonly well kept features.
The only thing that would allow him to calm down was her submission and by the looks of her the female was sly and would try to manipulate him to do as she pleased. Well he wasn't gonna be part of her little games of love, no not this seasoned boy. As Kreios made a circle around the vixen he stopped at her face buffing his frame up, pushing out his chest and tightening his slender legs. As the brute stared down the intruder a full gust of frigid air took to the room sending papers flying leaving the couple in a fury of chaos.
Pain shot through Kreios' head as he felt the cold air penetrate into the hole where his ear should have been. The male turned his head away only for a brief second to regain his composure. He didn't want this female thinking he was week from his disabilities. If anything it made the arrogant jerk stronger if not slightly more cocky in a twisted sorta way. The male let the pain ring fully in his head as he blocked away the pain as he had learned many years ago. Winter was the worst season of all for him the cold attacked that spot where the ear should be with vigor and never let down. Perhaps thats why Kreios is so vigilant. Now he stood waiting for a shocked or sarcastic remark to part from the golden dog.

Carrie's malarkie's picked up his rude remark. Her chocolate orbs glinted dangerously as she responded.
"Who the fuck am I? Well, I should hope I would recieve a better greeting than that bastard. Excuse me if I dont bow down to you. You're not a king. If thats the way you greet females, I pity anyone who becomes your friend. See ya around brute," Carrie snarled at him angrily, ears pinning back against her skull as she quickly turned, the front half of her body , then her rump following as she began walking away from him.
This is exactly what males hated she knew. Walking away from them. She would never become submisive around a brute. She didn't obide by his rules only her own. If he didn't like that, well then that was tough shit on him really. She could go and find a brute who wanted her for her, dark of course, who didn't dare ask her to bow down and kiss her independence goodbye. Hell no.
A chilly breeze whipped her golden fur around in several directions but she ignored it. Any brute who dared to ask her that would get a walk away or if he wanted to push himself, she'd attack him without hesitation. While Carrie didn't know what this brute had in mine, but she was sure as hell not going to bow down to him. Who the fuck did he think he was asking me to do that? I saw no crown on him or anything she thought enraged as she continued to pad away, not even glancing over her shoulder at her. Tail was held high in dignity and gently waved in teh air behind her. After all, Carrie had her dignity and she was not about to let that go down the toilet.
Her paws hardly making a noise as she trotted away from the brute. Again, Carrie wasn't the type to take any brutes bullshit and she would walk away from them faster than a human with leoparcy. This brute clearly thought he was above everyone else and definitely needed to be knocked down a few pegs. Right now Carrie was independent and wasn't going to bow down to any brutes demands. That would be when hell froze over...wait it did. But she still wasn't going to do it.
