The abandoned hospital, perhaps one of South's most favored adventure spots; its aroma, though often bitter and painful to sensitive nostrils, still filled the male with interest. It was such a mingle of scents, speaking of times of humans and their sicknesses, of other wandering strays who had stumbled into the large, airy building. There were so many levels to explore, so many intricate details to puzzle over, it never grew boring. However, his sister feared it, refused to delve into the strange smells and shadowy corridor, refused to take any part in this type of adventure, in spite of South's persistant arguing. So the two had parted ways, touching noses delicately as Zero went off on her own, slinking down the street with the grace of a lioness, leaving the powerfully muscular silhouette of Dirty South in her wake.
Nose curled in anxiety as the femme disappeared through the empty streets, always feeling great reluctance when seperated from his twin, whos tiny frame was so vulnerable and easy for attack. Emitting a quiet snort of dislike, the brute spun away from the sight, focusing instead upon the looming building, its broken doors swinging aimlessly in the chilly Autumn wind. The diserted halls moaned achingly as the cool breeze rustled through it's corridors, the sound ominous and creepy, sending a shiver darting down the male's spine, paws picking up their paces in anticipation as the bleak reception was entered.
Gaze was calculating, curious, as it lingered upon the different sights, cord thin tail whipping to and fro with increasing excitement, especially upon finding that the area was seemingly empty. No pesky dogs to contend with, no males to challenge; it had been awhile since South had felt so utterly peaceful. Blinking dark brown eyes, thick muzzle lowered to the earth, claws emitting a delicate clatter as the large Pit traveled across the black and white tiled floors. The smells were acidic, the sting of medicine and more terrible touch that accompanied humans - their scent was almost unearthly, thats how bad it was to him. Lips crinkled in dislike, moving in a slow arch as the reception arena was explored, ignoring the flickering of the computer screen and humming buzz of a TV. They were distant, mind easily blocking them out as it focused upon inward thoughts. Soon growing disinterested, South picked up speed, suddenly moving in a swift gallop, heading down the lengthy corridor at a flying pace, screeching to a halt and skidding in a wide circle upon soft pads. A fun game; the only thing these wickedly ugly tiles were good for.
Coming to a full stop, the male collapsed upon haunches, jaws having parted as tongue lolled, waiting until breath was caught and heart beat slowed before continuing his exploration.

North was exploring. she didnt know why but her wandering spirit wanted to stay in this deserted town. there were no 2 leggers, but thre seemed to have been in the past. her gut feeling knew they were not coming back. it was kind of nice here, all the things 2 leggers had, soft compfy sleeping places, warm places, shields against the rain. she came to a deserted hospital. the doors swung on their hinges in the autumn breezes. it was bleak on the inside, like most hospitals. there was a t v on some where with in the buliding. she heard canine nails up stairs. it wasnt like her but she padded up the stairs twords the sound. she knew it was an other canine, like herself. she ran upstairs, excited to see a possibly friendly fece. she saw a male sliding across the hideous tiles. he looked much like her self. the biggest difference was that the male was white. she watched him slide about and plunk down on his hainches. "that looks like fun!!" North squealed. she skittered down the long corridor at her top speed (this being very very fast, she leaned to run from things that freaked her out) and stopped, turning around in a complete ciricle and started to run again. her endurance was very good. (the things that freaked her out had chased her really far)
