Sadie slowly entered the building, shivering rapidly, water dripping off of her red-brown coat. How she had gotten soaked on a day like this, she wasn't sure. It hadn't been raining, nor had it been snowing...But then again, she didn't know of anything besides those two. Maybe there was some other sort of weather, she decided as she stood there for a moment before she finally decided to go and find something that could possibly keep her slightly warm for a while until she had to make her way back out into the unknown, dangerous outside world.
Without much thought she broke into a jog down the hallway, leaving a path of water droplets down the hallway and into the first room she saw that didn't smell too funny. All of them smelt funny, but this one didn't smell to bad she decided as she pushed the door open with her nose, entering slowly.
It wasn't exactly like she had pictured, but it would work well, she finally decided. There was a bed in the corner, the wood that it once sat on broken around it, so it was on the floor. The sheets were a dark gray color, and she knew they must have been white at some point in time, and shivered slightly at the thought. Quickly she dragged her mind back to the current subject, the fact that she was freezing cold and feeling worse by the second. With that in mind she made her way over to the bed, laying down and digging into the sheets as best as she could before her eyes closed slightly. If someone were to enter the room, it would be possible that she would possibly notice. But really, she was already half asleep. What more mattered?

CLICK ABOVE FOR PICTURE Severus' paws bounced as he made his way into the Abandoned hospital. Ears were raised on either side of his head, acoustics cupping any faint noise that might come around to them. Blue robs were locked a head of him , scanning around to see if any movement might jump out at him unexpectedly. Blades and pelvis rolled easily with each step, nails clicking softly on the floor as he trotted along. White and ebony fur flittered softly from the motion of the gait. Tail hung down between his back hocks, swaying from the motion as well. Lower jaw dropped and his salmon pink tongue lolled out and rested over his bottom two canines as he panted slightly. While it wasn't hot out, he did that out of exhertion. He didn't know why he had come into the hospital, but he figured no one was around so why not?
Severus' speckled face poked around every corner, making sure there was nothing there that shouldn't be there. His expression was fearful but yet determined at the same time. While he wasn't a 'fraidy' cat, he didn't like unexpected things to just 'pop' out at you. He suddenly picked up another scent on the floor. He pressed his nose to the ground and began snuffling along. A fae had passed through here. Outside the thunderstorm boomed loudly and the lightning lit up the entire interior through the windows. He followed the scent and came upon a brown and white bitch lying down. Severus stepped into the room but then planted his rump onto the floor, forelegs coming around to the front of his chest, keeping his upper body erect. Ears rotated around to show her that he meant her now harm as he began talking.
"Hello there. I'm Severus. What is your name?" he asked in a kind tone and waited.

A loud whine escaped the young dog as thunder boomed outside and the room was suddenly lighter than it had once been. But it lasted for only a moment and then it was dark again, the rain hitting the roof the only sound she was alert enough to currently hear.
Her eyelids were half closed once more as she curled up in a ball on the hard bed, shivering still. Wet fur stayed wet for now, keeping the large female dog shivering as she lay there half asleep. Mouth was left open, tounge hanging out and onto a wet and bloody paw.
As was guessed, she didn't stir when another creature entered the room, though her ears did twitch for a moment. It was when it spoke that she awoke suddenly, jumping to her feet and pinning back her ears for a mere moment before she discovered it was another dog.
The obvious male didn't look like he was out for dinner, so she allowed her ears to flop forward, watching him closely as she slowly sat back down. Hello there. I'm Severus. What's your name?
Sadie, she finally spoke, her odd colored eyes not leaving the site of the creature as she laid back down slowly, still trying to wake herself up.

Severus smiled at Sadie. She was still rather sleepy. Severus lowered his belly to the floor, letting his forelegs stretch out before him. He too, lowered his head and let his muzzle rest over his forelegs. Ears rotated forward, acoustics cupping her words. He smiled at her and responded.
"Hello Sadie. What brings you out here?" he asked in a kind voice.
His tail flicked from side to side, sweeping over the ground from side to side. Inside the weather was much warmer and he wasn't shivering inside the room. But outside, the rain hammered against the window. Lightning flashed again, illuminating the sky. Severus' mismatched orbs briefly raised from Sadie onto the window. The weather was really bad out today that was for sure.
Severus moved his eyes back onto Sadie and began speaking again.
"It's not safe out here though" Severus said softly. "Mostly darks lurk around here."
He wasn't shy around her, which was a strange thing. Normally Severus was completely shy around faes, including pretty ones, but for some reason he wasn't around her. One ear cocked back, listenign to the soudns of the building resting. There were moans and groans coming from the buliding as the place was settling. While the bomb didn't really destroy much of the place. It was still one one piece and still standing. The hospital was probably much farther than the ground zero when the bomb actually had gone off. Luckily the fallout only laster 3 years or so so it wasn't that bad.
His lower jaw drop, salmon pink tongue lolling out resting over the bottom incisors of his bottom jaw out the side of his lips. His nose twitched as he picked up Sadie's scent and waited patiently.

The female watched the other dog carefully as she began licking the wet blood off her wound, her ears pointed in the general direction of Severus. When he began talking again, she lifted her head to look at him, a yawn escaping her as he spoke.
What did bring her out here? Sadie actually had to think about it for a moment, but was distracted by the lightening that suddenly lit up the room. Automaticly she let out a soft whimper, putting her head back down.
It took her a few moments to recover, and by this time he had spoken once more, and what he said made her look curiously at him. "I-i don't know. The storm, I guess."
Mentally she hit herself for stuttering, it was a bad habit when she was nervous and possibly scared.
The one thing she didn't comment on was the fact that it wasn't safe here, that mostly darks hung out around here. She didn't have anywhere else to go, and she was obviously scared of the storm. Why did she have to leave? So far she had been fine, after all. Patiently she reminded herself that she was lucky he came, for at least now she knew not to come around here again.

Severus nodded. He could see she was scared by the lightning and storm and pulled himself up onto all fours and headed toward her. He plopped down next to her and lowered his belly to the ground. He didn't like when the faes were scared so he would lie next to them and keep them calm. He listened to her.
"Dont worry you're safe in here from the storm," he said warmly to her and softly.
"Wont your mate or family be worried where you are?" Severus asked her curiously.
Surely someone in her family would be worried about where she was and want to know when she would come back. His mismatched orbs locked on hers, patiently waiting for her to respond. His nose twitched, picking up her scent.
The hospital was a large building so there would be plenty of places to explore and whatnot. Perhaps doing some exploring might help take her mind off teh storm. Severus pulled himself up onto all fours and spread his legs giving his body a rigorous shake. His upright ears flapped against his skull. When he stopped, he regarded Sadie.
"How about we take a walk? It will help get your mind off the storm? This place is huge," he said brightly as he stood on all fours and watched her closely. His furry tail waved through the air behind him, showing her that he was happy and eager and hoped she would take him up on the offer to explore. The hospital was large and there were loads of rooms and places to go. It was exciting really. Oddly he felt at ease at this place. Why he didn't know but it was just there. His lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his bottom two canines as he panted slightly, waiting.

Sadie watched Severus come over next to her and plop down, and she sighed, watching him still. She listened to him speak, her nose twitching as she discovered his scent. All she did was nod in response to the fact that she was safe in here. For some reason she already trusted the other canine, though she still wasn't exactly sure about the storm.
He talked, paused, and then started talking again, which she had little objection to at this point in time. But the question he asked made her tilt her head to the side, her mouth opening and tounge hanging out the side. "No..I haven't seen anyone in my family for almost two years now. My mom left my brother and I out on the street one night in the rain, promising that it'd be better if we learned everything on our own. But...we were on different corners, I guess. I never got to actually know him," she explained to him, pausing for a moment. "And about the mate? Haha. That's a good one."
Her eyes followed him as he stood up and shook, yawning as she watched him. He proposed a walk around the building, and by the wagging motion of his tail, she figured that she couldn't accept.
The younger, more energetic Sadie popped out now, and she jumped up, shook, her tail wagging just about as fast as you could think possible. "Let's go!"
