A large figure walked through the cemetery, his form looming over most of the graves. His shadow followed him silently, a stalker that watched over Bullet with fierce intensity. Sometimes it even seemed that the black shape dancing at his feet was defending him, but then again, Bullet could take care of himself.
The headstones weren't very odd, just crumbling old pieces of rock engraved with the names 'Smith', 'Jones', 'Johns'. Nothing out of the ordinary. And then Bullet found what he was looking for. "You fought hard, my friend. But in the end, we always win. And you, deary, you learned it the hard way." Engraved on the somewhat new stone was the name 'Denai'. Following the name was the inscription of a dog, a Great Dane with spots on his face and backside. "Rest in Hell, Kat." The male laughed, his loud voice echoing over the entire graveyard. His silhouette seemed even larger, and the white fangs in his mouth seemed even more intimidating. Bullet sat, his eyes resting on the rough picture of him standing guard over his owner. What the engravers hadn't known was that he, in fact, was the murdered of the very rotting carcass that he know sat upon. Too bad they hadn't figured the bite marks to be of Great Dane.

CLICK FOR PICTURE^ Infiniti's paws bounced easily as she trotted into the cemetary. While this would normally frighten some dogs, she wasn't that spooked about it. She learned that these were the humans that had died years ago so there wasn't anything really in there to hurt her. Ears were raised on either side of her head, acoustics cupping any noise that might come about. Chocolate orbs were locked a head of her, scanning around. There was even a faint mist that snaked its way around the trunks of trees, and slithered around the headstones. She felt a tingle running up her spine, but she didn't think that had anything to do with the temperature out there that night.
Infinit's lower jaw was dropped, and her salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over her bottom two canines as she panted, but ever so slightly. The weather certainly had gotten chillier but it wasn't anything she couldn't handle. Her expression was blank as she wormed her way around upright headstones and moseleums. There was a large angel statue in the center of the cemetary that loomed over a few other gravemarkers. Her chocolate and ivory fur softly fluttered in the breeze, but she didn't mind. The place smelled of damp earth and decay...something that she wasn't really used to but at the same time, it wasn't bother some.
She heard a male's voice nearby and let her harks raised on both sides of her head. The white around her eye stood out as she peered around one of the markers at a great dane. She slowly approached him before planting her rump on teh ground, forelegs coming around to the front of her chest keeping her upper body erect. She began speaking to him softly.
"Hello. I'm Infiniti. Was this someone you know?" she asked in a kind soft voice and waited for him to respond.

Bullet slowly turned, the light catching his eyes exactly to make it seem as if his eyes were a violent red, possibly even magenta. The female he faced was beautiful, and by her scent, he figured that she was alone, and had been. He inhaled once more, taking in her amazing scent. it wasn't too strong, yet enough to make him want to howl with joy. Laughing, he soon answered his question. "Yes, my dear. This was someone I knew. Someone I knew very well. In fact, I was born underneath her very gaze. Hon, I killed this very human. And I still do not regret it to this day." Bullet looked her over again, finding her very appearance irresistible. She was amazing, the most gorgeous female he had ever laid his eyes on. She wasn't too large, nor too skinny, and the emotions rolling off of her didn't include any form of fear whatsoever. The only thing Bullet really had to do was seduce her, and make this beautiful fea his, and his only.
"My name's Bullet, dear, and I could possibly be your worst nightmare, or the best dream you've ever had." The smile curling on his lips briefly showed his fangs, the dim light radiating off of them. Bullet laughed.

Infiniti listened to him. It must've been his mother Infiniti wondered. But then responded to him in a calm but cool tone.
"Well, I certainly hope its the latter," she said to him, lifting her rump off the ground and standing on all fours. She sperad her legs, giving her body a rigorous shake, ears flapping against her head. Her chocolate orbs looked at the brute before her before she began speaking again.
"What brings you out here?" she asked curiously cocking her head to one side curiously.
If he wanted a girl friend he was going to have to show her that he wasn't the two timing bit meaning that he would have her as a girl friend and then have another bitch on the side. Inifin was a loyal girl and didn't appreciate that kind of crap going on. She wasn't that type of bitch.
Eventually, Infiniti planted her rump on the ground again letting her forelegs come around to the front of her chest keeping her upper body erect. Ears rotated around to listen to the brute before her. He seemed rather darkish, but that caused Infin a bit of alarm bells to go off in her head. She didn't want him to go attacking her or worse...force breeding her. With that thought, she clamped her tail around her back legs more tighter. While she was not going to be in season for a while, she wanted to play safe completely. Her amber orbs looked at the brute as she patiently sat waiting for him to respond to her.
He didn't seem to want to hurt her but still you could never know really. Brutes were strange really and you had to watch yourself around them.

The change in the atmosphere was amazing, the chilly air suddenly bcoming a whole lot colder, and Bullet was almost able to see his breath as he spoke, observing as the fmale had second thoughts about him. "I've been coming to this place every night since destroying this female. Poking around the cemetery, you know? Sometimes I have fun by pushing over some of the headstones, though I doubt anyone would mind." Bullet shivered, his short coat was definitely not for cold weather, and he looked at Infiniti, suddenly jealous of her fur. He told himself that he wasn't going to go and scare her by pressing his body against hers, no way would he mess up a chance like this. She was right in front of him, and as far as he could tell, she wasn't going to run away just yet.
"What brings you here, darling?" Bullet returned the question, placing his head upon his paws as he slid to the earth, his figure still about the size of some of the grim looking stones placed around the cemetery. His dark eyes looked at Infiniti, his gaze waiting for her answer.

Infiniti watched him warily and then lowered the front half of her body, in a faint 'bow', before stretching one hind leg out at a time, enjoying the feeling of her own body. She stopped and planted her rump on the ground in front of one of the larger headstones. She laid down on her belly, letting her forelegs stretch out before her and she let her muzzle rest between her front paws. She lifted her ears on either side of her head listening to him talking.
He certainly was a dark, but strangely wasn't acting that way toward her Infiniti wondered rather thoughtfully but also warily. She responded to him.
"Boredome mostly. I had thought I had found a mate but he disappeared now and hasn't been around," She thought sadly thinking of the time she spent her days on the beach with him having fun. She didn't understand why he had vanished and left her alone now. Rich mocha orbs moved onto Bullet now. She gave a faint nod at his statement and flicked her tail from side to side, sweeping through the leaves and the dirt. She saw him shiver and realized he must've been cold.
"It's a rather nasty day out today. Why dont we find one of those moselums and take shelter in there? It'll be warmer," Infiniti suggested as she raised her head and watched him.
If he wanted to get warm, the mosoleum was the perfect place to take refuge. The winter was definitely coming in like a lion now and pretty soon the snow would start. So she had a thick coat luckily but some dogs didn't have that luxury. Her nose twitched as she waited for him to talk.

Bullet yawned, his maw opening wide enough so that he could intake enough air to last him a few seconds. He pondered at her reply to his shiver, and stood to shake off the cold. "I think we might as well find one of them things, it is getting rather cold out, isn't it?" His nose lifted into the air, and Bullet forgot that he was dark. He forgot that he had hated the humans, and forgot that life was such a struggle. all he was focused on was Infiniti, and making sure she was happy. Heading in the direction of the closest moselem, he ducked inside, finding that there was just enough room for Infiniti if she wished to join him in here. It was a bit chilly at first, the stone walls surrounding him seeming to close in all at once, toppling on Bullet. But then, it warmed, and he found that it was much hotter in here than outside, where the cold air attacked from all angles. In that situation, it was inevitable at getting purple paws. But then again....
This time, Bullet had no 'but then again', and was at a loss of words as he waited for Infiniti. The only time in his life that he had been silent, his jaws shut in attempt to keep in the warm. It was very creepy in here, he suddenly realized, and whoever was buried here must have been rich, as Bullet's eyes adjusted to the darkness, he found intricate engravements dug into the granite. One was a border collie, a beautiful female with a collar around her neck, and her owner patting her back. Bullet figured that this was more than a hundred years old, at least, and sneezed, the dust from the stone reaching his nose. He sat, and waited.

Infiniti picked up her body and slinked into the nearest moseleum. Bullet was already there, lying down. She stopped inside and gazed around at the intricate workings inside.
"Oh I knew this family. It was the Andersons. They were rich and owned a famous toothpaste company. That dog was an acquaintence of mine when the humans were around. Sadly, I dont miss them much" Infiniti said sighing as she found a spot close to Bullet and flopped down, letting her belly press against the floor. While the floor was cold, it was much warmer in here as the wind was not howling as much and the breeze didn't hit them full blast. Infinti's ears raised on either side of her head as she lowered her muzzle between her front paws.
"So Bullet, do you have any family nearby?" she inquired curiously. "I dont have any living relatives myself."
She yawned her tongue curling back into her maw as she laid there enjoying the warmth that was now coming in there. The door clanged shut which only gave them more warmth from the horrid weather outside. From the wind howling, she could hear the door slightly banging against the frame, as it was only hanging on by its hinges. But either way it was much warmer in here than it was outside. Infiniti's tail flicked from side to side, sweeping over the dusty ground. While it was rather creepy in here, it was quiet none the less and it was the perfect place to rest and get out of the fall weather. Her eyes landed on Bullet and she patiently waited for him to respond. Oddly, for a dark he wasn't mean or aggressive toward her. Most brutes would be wanting to force breed her but he wasn't doing that. Hell if he tried, he's get a jawful of her canines right in the family jewels. She watched and waited.

Bullet shivered once more, not from the cold, but from the eeiry air this place gave off. He wasn't easy to scare, no way. But this place just gave him the creeps. All the better more to stay here. Turning back to Infiniti, he replied. "My family's all dead, I suppose. I haven't seen them since I was born, so I figure they're either out living the rest of their lives, or somewhere laying in a ditch, maggots filling their carcasses." His answer was truthful, he had no idea if his family was alive, or dead, for that matter. He didn't care, anyways, he had never known them.
Infiniti seemed to be more careful aroudn him than before, and Bullet supposed that she thought that since he was dark, he would mostl ikely force breed her. Shaking his head, Bullet forced a short laugh, btu not at her. He had never believed in that sort of stuff, and thought it was cruel for a male to hurt a female in that manner. Bullet had heard of it happening, and would kill anyone he knew that did it. It was disgusting, and was way too low, even for a dark.

Infiniti heard him laugh aloud and gave him an amused look but then spoke again.
"Yeah that about sums up my family too," she said sadly and sighed, yawning now letting her salmon pink tongue to curl back into her maw. She snapped her jaws shut again and looked at him.
Deciding that perhaps Bullet's intentions was not to force breed but more than likely to gain some friends or more, Infiniti pulled herself up onto all fours and gave her body a rigorous shake causing her ears to flap against her skull. While the interior of the moseleum didn't really bother her she guessed it was causing Bullet the heebie jeebies. She stopped shaking and boldly stepped over to him, plopping down beside him, letting her warm body press against his.
She lowered her muzzle and head again letting them rest over one foreleg as her chocolate orbs locked on Bullets.
"Did you hear stories of the bomb? It must've been facinating to see it. The humans on one hand had wonderful inventions, but also they were rather stupid if you ask me," Infiniti said softly her flapped ears pricked and rotated toward him to await his response. While Infin wasn't exactly dark, she didn't think the humans were smart either. Why build nuclear bombs things that can destroy you, in order to protect? Sure you needed protection but there were other things that would've done the same job. Why not focus on that?
Outside, the wind howled again, only adding to the eerieness but she was calm and collective in there. Oddly it didn't spook her. She watched him closely starting to feel much more calmer around him. Her nose twitched as she let out a soft sneeze. The only problem here was dust. She waited.

Bullet was actually quite surprised when Infiniti gained up the confidence to lay next to him, and he turned to her, suddenly a whole lot more comfortable, even in the stone grave. He wanted to laugh at his fright, but found himself at a loss of word, yet again. Instead, he looked back at the female, finding her brown eyes amazing, beautiful and sophisticated, unlike him. Resting his head upon his paws once again, Bullet sighed. "I've heard of the bomb. And I agree with you, some of the human's inventions were quite interesting, but all in all, quite stupid, as well. I mean, they created guns that were to protect, as well, while they killed their own kind with them. But then again, we're pretty much the same, or at least a number of us are." Bullet sighed again, raising his paw to scratch at his muzzle. He saw the single black spot upon the canvas of white on it, and began wondering why in the world he looked like he looked. And why in the world the humans named dogs, dogs. They could have named them cats, for all they knew. Or, they could have called dogs birds. Who knew why the humans did what they did. All Bullet knew was that they were dead, and it was a better world without them here.

Infiniti listened to Bullet talking. Of course he had some good points as well. Infiniti raised her head and turned toward Bullet.
"I agree yup. Totally thats how I feel. But the main thing is now us dogs are ruling," She said softly grinning a bit.
She yawned her lower jaw dropping and her salmon pink tongue lolling out but curling back into her jaws as she yawned. Once the yawn finished her jaws snapped shut. She turned to Bullet.
"I guess we'll never understand why those foolish humans do what they do," She said sadly and lowered her head again. Surprisingly she was even more comfortable around Bullet now. She gently nudged him with her nose and returned her head to between her forepaws. Ears rotated toward Bullet as she waited for him to speak again. Outside in the distance she could hear the thunder booming and lighting streaked briefly illuminating the sky. A storm was coming. Sure enough, she could hear the rain drumming on teh ground outside and against the side of the moseleum. She turned to Bullet.
"Looks like its a storm" she said looking out through one of the opened portals.
She figured their best bet would be to stay inside until the storm let up. Specially now since the bomb went off, storms have become very violent now and windy...almost hurricane speed. A faint shiver ran down her spine but she ignored it glad that she was inside the moseleum. Her chocoalte and ivory pelt blended in with the shadows now that loomed inside stretching and expanding. While she didn't find this place creepy by the look on Bullet's face he did.
She gave him a faint smile.
"This isn't the Taj Mahal but its definitely a cover," she said lightly and waited.

Bullet laughed soflty, not wanting his voice to bounce off the walls as it had. He stared outside, through a crack in which the door had found a way to open. Suddenly, the rain began pouring down, thunder crackling outside. It was dark, darker than it had been. The rain came down hard, and straight, the kind of rain that hurt as it pelted you. Then came the lightening.
It came in bright sparks, yellowed zigzags of light dancing on the horizon. They became brighter and brighter, almost too bright for Bullet to look at. The wind was howling louder, and slammed the door shut with a bang. Bullet didn't jump, he was used to that type of stuff happen. His fur bristling, he turned his head back to where Infiniti was sitting, although, he coulnd't quite see her yet in the dark. "It doesn't matter. Looks like we'll be in here for a while, anyways." He sighed loudly, but not loud enough to hear over the thunder. A little water was beginning to drip in, a puddle was probably forming outside the door. Oh well, if they drowned, they drowned. Which was very unlikely, as Bullet thought of it. He sighed again.

Infiniti smiled as she got up again and headed over toward Bullet. Feeling much more relaxed around him now, Infiniti plopped down next to him, lying on her belly, forelegs stretching out before her, lowering her muzzle between her forepaws. Folded velvery ears were rotated toward Bullet now as she began talking.
"Ugh I hate the rain. " She said sighing and turned to Bullet. "We're better off taking a snooze."
At the mentino of a nap, she yawned, lower jaw dropping salmon pink tongue lolling out and curling back into her maw. Her jaws snapped shut as she returned her muzzle to between her paws.
"Whats your worst memory as a pup?" She asked curiously glancing at him sideways. Her fur fluttered softly in the chilly breeze that blew in from one of the opened areas in the moseleum. Her nose twitched as she inhaled a bit of the mustyness. She heard the thunder outside the building, and saw the lightning flash briefly, illuminating the interior of the moseleum. She jumped ever so slightly, but then recovered and waited for him to respond. She didn't know what else she could ask him being that they were stuck in side. But she waited.
