Sera trotted down the side of the creek lost in her thoughts. This was the very place the love of her life had take his last breaths. It was a depressing memory, but of course she had lost her love for him. Of course she got over him. She wasn't one to dwell on the past. No way, not her, not Sera. She had grown up without a care in the world, her parents raised her that way. But in a way, she could still feel the pain of being here.
When she got to the part where the creek ended in a small pond, she lay down, her paws dipped into the cold water. It felt good since she had been walking around for the past 3 hours. Sera sighed, looking dow at her paws. You could see dirt on the edges of ehr pure white fur. She turned her eyes to the silvery water, and got caught in daydreaming again. Her icy blue eyes seemed to fog, and it was almost like a movie playing before her eyes.
She and her brother had come here several times. So so many times. They were wonderful memories. Her parents would sun bathe and take a nao while she and her brother romped around in the water, or on the waters edge. It was so exciting for just being a couple of pups. Sera closed her eyes and smiled. Someone could have thought she was asleep, the way shye looked. Partially curled up on the waters edge. But she was only daydreaming.
Then, her nose twitched nas she caught the scent of another dog. Her eyes opened and her head shot up. She was curious. Would this newcomer greet her or was her nose playing tricks on her? Shye doubted that. But her sense of smell was so acute the smell could have just been and ld scent left behind. She waited to see if it was a newcomer.

Fox's paws bounced easily as he made his way into the Spring Creek.. His ebony and ivory mixed harks were raised on either side of his head, acoustics cupping any noise that might come about. The border collie loved exploring these parts. It was so interesting to see what the humans had acomplished in their long lifetime. While Fox didn't mind the humans, he had to admit, living life now on his own without the humans was a good thing. He loved not having to respond to people or even worry about people calling him 'retarded' and 'slow'.
True, Fox wasn't the most swiftest fox in the bunch, but that didn't mean he didn't know what was going on, it was just in simplier terms and terms HE understood easily. Fox's blades and pelvis rolled easily as he made his way along the creek. He snuffled along. No other dogs had come through here yet, that morning, but the scents of other dogs were definitely there from passerbys that had come through here days ago.
Fox made his way through the lush green vegetation that lined the creek. He could hear the birds chirping happily in the treetops, singing their natural songs. But a new scent caught him. A fae. Smiling brightly he headed along the edge, teh water bubbling softly beside him. He stopped to get a drink from the creek, the cold water feelign refreshing as it went down his throat. He spied the fae and planted his rump on teh ground. Forelegs came around to the front of his chest, keeping his upper body erect. Ears were raised on either side of his head. Chocolate orbs locked on her. He beamed at her.
"Hello there! I'm Fox. Whats your name?" he asked brightly and waited for her to respond.

Sera was surprised to see another dog before her. Good, so her nose hadn't been playing tricks on her, which meant she hadn't got excited for nothing. Sera smiled at the newcomer. She got up, sitting back on her haunches. She listened as he introduced himself.
Fox? How strange, he didn't look very much like a Fox. Other than fluffy fur, but that was pretty much it. She wondered why he had been giving that name. She would probably find out soon enough.
"I'm Sera," she said, her tail wagged a little. "Nice to meet you," she added. Now Sera got to thinking. Why had she been given her name. Now it was weird not to know that. She wished her parents were still around so she could ask them. Or had they told her andshe just couldn't remeber? No, she was sure she'd remeber it. She never forgot anything.
Sera shook her head, not wanting to drift off into space when another dog was preasant. That'd be emberassing. But it'd be nothing new to her of course. Her ears twitched around freely as she wondered of what to do next. Words;; 207 Mood;; Curious, friendly

Fox beamed at Sera and felt his tail wagging slowly from side to side to show that he meant her no harm. She seemde rather timid and shy as well which was good because he was that way now. He panted slightly, salmon pink tongue flapping out the corner of his maw as he regarded her. She was a pretty girl. Fox was named Fox because of his owners love for a Tv show called "The X-Files". It was the name of one of the FBI Agents on there. He looked at the fae before him.
He didn't care about where her name came from, he was only interested in making a friend perhaps.
"What are you doing out here?" Fox asked brightly regarding her with his chocolate brown eyes. His furry ears were lifted on either side of his head, waiting for her to talk again.
She had a nice calm voice which he rather liked. It was her colorign that striked Fox more. True he was black and white, but she was pure white with blue eyes. Really pretty. He found himself becoming rather bashful around her, but tried to hold a normal conversation.
"I like to come out here to look at the lovely birds and trees," he said to her lowering his head and blushing furiously.
If she thought he was a retard, now would be the perfect time to say so. He was used to the females laughing at him and calling him names that it never phased him much anymore. But it hurt. He just never showed it much. His eyes caught the fading light, making them appear golden and amberish as he sat there patiently waiting for her to speak again. He hoped she would talk again. Sera smiled sweetly at him. With his tail wagging back and forth he most certainly didn't seem like a threat. Good on Sera's part. She was glad to end the day with a friendly greeting instead of running for her life.
Sera's ears perked up at his question. She hesitated for a moment. The reason she came out here was to remeber the past. She decided to leave out the sad part of it. "Oh well, my brother and i used to come here all the time when we were pups," she said smiling. "I came here to re-live those memories i guess you could say," she added after a moment.
When she heard the reason he came here, her tail wagged. She didn't find that stupid at all. She thought it was wonderful. What he had said was like poetry to her.
"I know!" she agreed excitedly. "It's lovely out here isn't it?" she added. She couldn't stop her tail from wagging furiously. Had she just made a new friend. That thought only made her happier. She got up on all fours, her tail still wagging excitedly. Words;; 204 Mood;; Excited, happy

Fox grinned at Sera glad that she wasn't going to call him retarded or something along those lines. Fox yawned, his lower jaw dropping and salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his bottom two canines and inscisors as he panted slightly. He nodded in agreement with Sera when she said how love this place was. He pulled himself up onto all fours and took a few steps forward before stopping and craning his head around to look at her.
"Why dont we go for a walk? Its too lovely to just stand here," He said brightly, his tail continuing to wag furiously, waving through the air. A cool breeze whipped his two toned fur in several directions. He enjoyed coming to this spring and had come here earlier that week. But now it was much better considering there was another friend and he had company now. This was something he never had before. Perhaps one day she will become his friend. He would very much enjoy that alot. Being that she would be his first friend he ever had in a long time. Mostly they just shy away from him and laugh at him, giving the usual business of making fun of him.
It was rather nice not hearing that from the females voice now. He rather liked her voice. It was calming and soothing. His ears pricked as he listened to Sera.
"Same here I just come here sometimes to enjoy the prettiness," He said brightly.
His warm chocolate orbs were locked on her, awaiting her response. His nose twitched, picking up on her scent. Her lovely white fur was like magic almsot and her blue orbs were striking. Fox didn't know if she had a boyfriend, but he really didn't want to push it.

Sera nodded rapidly in agreement. "That sounds wonderful," she said smiling brightly. A walk did sound wonderful. Especially on a beautiful day like this. Yes, a beautiful day it was. The breeze that came a long only ruffled her medium length hair. She was mesmerized at how long his hair was. It was absolutely wonderful.
Sera shook out her fur. Shye didn't like the feeling of it not being in place. It made her shiver, and feel tingly. She didn't like those feelings. She looked up at Fox again, and smiled. She had just notice his eye color. They looked so much like her brothers, just looking at them reminded her of her brother. She felt a pang of sadness as she thought about her brother, but wuickly brushed the feeling off. She didn't want to be depressed right now. She had, possible, just made a new friend.
"About that walk..." she said, the smile still plastered on her face. "Where will we walk to?" she asked curiously. She just liked to know these things, unless they were surprises. She thought surprises were wonderful! "Or are we just taking a stroll?" she added quickly. Because if it was that then he didn't have to give her an answer.

Fox beamed at Sera and padded a few more paces in front of her before stopping and turning his head around to look at her over his shoulder. Tail continude to wave in teh air behind him. Another chilly breeze blew over his back, ruffling his two colored fur. He noticed the brief flash of sadness in Sera's expression.
"Why is Sera sad?"" Fox asked with genuine concern as his ears raised and turned toward her.
Fox hated seeing anyone sad really and wanted to know why they were feelin that way. He wanted to help her, if he could.
Nose twitched, lower jaw dropping and salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his bottom two canines. He panted ever so slightly as he stood there and listened to her questions about where they were going to walk.
"We can walk along the creek. It runs through the island and along the edge so we've got plenty of places to go," he said brightly as he wagged his tail even more. He had hoped that she would acompany him. The creek ran along teh edge of the island, before spilling into one of the lakes on the eastern side. The island was rather pretty and not to mention it was much better than the city. For some reason Fox didn't like the city too much. He preferred to be out here in the island , enjoying the lovely scenery and being with nature. Above the sun dipped behind a few clouds, briefly engulfing them in semi darkness. A few birds had taken flight and their bodies black against the battleship grey sky. Fall was here and winter wouldn't be too far off. Fox was actually looking forward to the winter and playing in the snow. He watched Sera and waited.

Sera smiled at him as he asked why she was sad. "Oh, it's nothing really," she said sincerely. She didn't want to burden him with it. His eyes were just the same as her brothers so it was strange, but in a way a little comforting.
Her ears perked up as he talked about where they could go. "Really?" shye asked. She knew she had been to plenty of places here, quiet a few. But she didn't remeber what most of them looked like. It had been such a long time.
Her ears perked up in excitement. "Would you like to lead the way?" she asked, smiling sweetly. "I don't really remeber what's where so, i wouldn't be a very good guide," she said with a laugh. In fact, how long had it been? Well, she didn't feel like doing the math right now. But she was guessing around a year or so. Then she began to think. She was 1 1/2 when her friend died, so it had to be a year and a half. She gasped. "Wow i really haven't been here for a long time..." she said to Fox, still surprised with herself.

Fox beamed at Sera and nodded as he began walking toward the area. Blades and pelvis rolled easily with each step paws hardly making a sound as he moved. His pads left heart shaped imprints behind as he headed out. Ears rotated forward and around to listen to SEra.
He nodded brightly and spoke.
"Oh yes. Fox know a lot of good places to go," He said merrily as he walked alongside Sera, matching each stride perfectly with hers as though he was a living ghost.
His chocoate eyes looked back at Sera.
"Well, whever Sera is ready to talk Fox will be here," he said cheerfully and kept on walking.
He hadn't been this happy in a while. Sera the girl didn't mind him one bit, never the less minded the way he spoke. At this point half the girls would mock him and laugh calling him retard. But Sera definitely seemed much different than those other girls he met.
Girls are funny he thought to himself. Why they called him names he didn't know. Perhaps they thought he was entertaining or something and thats why they always laughed at him.
Still, Fox pressed on ward gently bumping into Sera on occasion from teh rocky points along the creek. He grew up here mostly, and knew this place well. There were tons of places to go and hide and he loved it completely. He glanced at Sera again.
"Sera have family nearby?" he asked curiously and kept one ear cocked toward her, waiting for her to respond again. Surely her family would be worried about her and want to know where she was. Fox had no family so it didn't matter much where he went or what he did. Notes: Mood: Cheerful Muse: Good Notes: Fox is a bit 'slow' and he always talks as though its third person xD
