Can someone give me college advice/opinions?

I've lived in a small town in California my whole life, but I kind of want to get out. I'm a junior right now. If I stay, I want to south to the Long Beach area or North to the Santa Barbara or Monterey Bay area.

My high school "profile":
-I'm in the IB program; 4 IB classes this year, 5 next year.
-3.75 accumulative GPA thus far(ugh)
-180(meaning predicted 1800 for the SAT) on the PSAT; taking the SAT in May and maybe again in the fall
-in marching band/colorguard; 4 years, may be captain next year

The colleges I'm looking at are:
UCSB* or Davis(not sure about the rural setting at Davis

Northeastern University
University of Chicago*
University of Virginia*

I really like CUNY Hunter, but I haven't heard much about it except that its science program is pretty good. I want to go into science; either pharmacology, genetics, or epidemiology.

Any advice for me? Any colleges to recommend? Thanks!
