Iron Rust had been just wandering around, trying to find something to do, when he came upon dark woods. He had always liked dark places, so this suited him fine. He had been having a pretty good day, so he was in a fine mood as well. Ahead of him, he saw a small patch of sunlight. He stared at it hard, looking for any movement that would give away the presence of other creatures. Iron Rust’s deep brown eyes squinted as he scanned every shadow, but he didn’t find anything. He shrugged his shoulders a bit, and walked stealthily over to the sun patch. When he entered the sunlight his pelt almost seemed to glow, the white lighting up to almost neon brightness, the grays and browns seeming to give off their own dull light. But the most amazing thing about him were his eyes, as they seemed to be the only dark spots on him. The sunlight warmed Iron Rust’s fur, making him sleepy. His maw opened wide, exposing razor sharp white teeth, as he yawned. He lowered his head and closed his maw, snorted once, and preceded to lay down. Iron Rust turned circled three times and lay down on the crisp leaves. He looked around one last time to be sure he was alone, his ears twitched in every direction to listen for any noises, and then he laid his head across his paws and closed his eyes.

Kiyax eyes flickered open suddenly, she heard the noise of crunching leaves and the heavy breaths of another dog. She tensed and lifted her head ever so slowly, from her shelter beneath a dark colored holly bush, she could just barely make out the shape of another canine through the tightly packed trees. The dog was laying down, bathed in one of the few clearings of sunlight just ahead of her. The little Sheba Inu Relaxed, its eyes where closed and she was downwind. Raising her maw she drank in the scents, he was indeed a male. Her eyes narrowed slyly, and a small smirk appeared on her features,it wasn't everyday that she saw a male dog. Quietly she rose to her paws, her coal black blanketed coat disguised her well in the dark. Lightly she bounded toward him, her toes barely touched the ground as she skimmed gracefully over the leaf litter. Finally she reached the sun lit clearing. Kiyax stopped and stood rigid waiting to see if he had heard her. There was no reaction, quickly she lowered her body into the brambles, dark eyes flashing excitedly. Hoping he wouldn't scent her, Kiyax flattened her ears and waited, her pelt just barely visible among the leaves.

Iron Rust had indead heard the female dog skimming across the leaves, but hadn't opened his eyes, hoping that she might go away if she saw that he was sleeping. He waited a few moments, but the female didn't leave. The male dog sighed, lifted his head, and opened his eyes. He scanned around, trying to find the dog that had disturbed his slumber. He didn't see anyone, didn't smell them either. Iron Rust 'hrumphed' and stood slowly, stretching as he stood. His joints audibly popped, and he sighed as the tention left his body. Once fulling standing, the wolf-like dog scanned the area, trying to find the other dog. "Who's there?' Iorn Rust asked quietly. He looked around, perking his sharp ears towards each direction. Up ahead of him, her heard quiet breathing, and looked in that direction.

Kiyax blinked, her dark orbs seemed to smile themselves as he looked at her. He was very muscular, she could already tell from where she was laying. Snickering to herself, Kiyax raised her head out of the grass, clearly visible, though hard to make out in the shadows. She pricked her ears forward and grinned, "Oh nobody, only me!" The little femme replied, her voice Innocent sounding. There was a long pause, when suddenly she stood, slender legs lifting her off the ground. Gracefully she walked forward, unafraid and confident like, her paws bringing her silently into the clearing. As she stepped into the sunlight, the golden rays shimmered off her sable fur, now she was completely in sight. Coming to a stop, Kiyax grinned one of her foxish smiles, sharp teeth clearly visible. "Is there a problem?" She coaxed, voice smooth as stone and cold as ice. Her shard glass eyes traveled over him like razors, studying him for signs of weakness in case he wanted to fight. Kiyax wasn't worried, if it came to that, she could bolt back through the forest easily as the morning breeze. The brute was obviously surprised to see her, but that wasn't new.

Iron Rust looked at the female as if bored, but he felt his pulse begin to quicken. The dog in front of him was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen! He squinted his eyes and looked her over from the tip of her plume to the tip of her maw. She is indeed a beautiful creature. "No problem. No, none at all. Iron Rust looked down at his paws, hoping she couldn't see his true feelings. His nose twitched as it struggled to catch her scent, but he couldn't as he was up wind of the femme. He looked back up at her, hoping that he wouldn't seem too intimidating. "So little lady, what are you doing out in the woods, alone?" He gave her a small smile, just barely letting the whiteness of his fangs show through his lips.

Kiyax could feel his excitement, he quickly tried to hide it but she had already known. The Sheba Inu blinked and stood silent, pretending she hadn't noticed. Eyes twinkling slyly, she grinned in reply to his question, "Me? Oh nothing in particular!" She cooed, thin white lips drew back over her teeth. Kiyax stared once again unblinkingly at the brute, than slowly she began to strut forward. Paws brushing softly over the golden and red colored leaves, she kept her fixed on him while she circled the clearing. Her walk was light and she kept her fine muzzle pointed towards his face. He was large, with a gray rustic colored pelt and thick coat, he reminded her of a wolf but there was obvious dog marks as well. Once she had completely circled him, Kiyax stopped in front of his face. She felt his scent strong now and took a step forward until there muzzles nearly touched. She smiled sweetly and breathed, "what do they call you?" Kiyax whispered, voice soft. Than just as suddenly as she had appeared beside him, she pulled away, a sly expression on her features. She was practically walking on her toes, when she stopped a few more feet away from him and waited.

Iron Rust shivered slightly when the fae walked close to him. She was so close, yet so far away at the same time. He closed his eyes and breathed in her scent. Why does she torment me like this? He opened his dark brown eyes slowly, taking in the female's form slowly, as if he was seeing her for the first time again. "I am known to others as Iron Rust, as I shall be know to you." His eyes opened completely, and it seemed as if the only thing he could see was the beautiful Sheba Inu that was standing only feet from him. He only needed to take a few steps forward, brisk, long strides, they would carry him forward to the femme standing before him, then he could... He gave his imagination a mental shake. Stop thinking that way! She would run for her life, or kill me. Iron Rust slowly turned his head away from the dog before him, trying to stop his heart from beating so hard. The wolf-dog shifted his fur, trying to find something else to occupy his mind. His eyes seemed to have a will of their own, however, as they turned back to the she-dog that was standing in front of him.

"He's fighting himself!" Kiyax thought as she watched him shaking his head and trying peel his eyes away from her. She gave him yet another knowing smile, the feeling of pleasure made her feel like she could run forever. "Iron Rust is it?" The dark femme thought out loud, playing the part. Suddenly she lunged forward unexpectedly, wisping past the wolf-dog making sure her fur barely pricked his. Before he got the chance to turn around to see where she had gone, Kiyax was beside him. Purposely she made sure she didn't press her body against his, but close enough that she could feel his excited scent coming off him in waves. Raising her muzzle to his ear she spoke, "My names Kiyax..." the Sheba Inu whispered. Her tone was soft yet cold, it could make any dog shiver yet at the same time was irresistible. Running her tongue across her teeth, Kiyax snickered and slipped beneath his belly so that she was his other side. The same look glinted in her dark eyes, and she kept ready, always keeping out of reach yet close enough to show him that he wasn't messing with just any female.

Iron Rust felt as if his heart was in his throat, as he couldn't seem to be able to speak. He gulped quickly when the femme whispered in his ear, and tried to keep hisself still when she crawled beneath his belly. "Kiyax..." the wolf-dog's voice cracked as he said her name. He cleared his throat quickly before speaking again. "Kiyax is a... a very nice name. I've never heard it before." God that sounded stupid, why can't I keep my head around this dog? Iron Rust grinned sheepishly and looked in Kiyax's general direction. Slowly, the czechoslovakian wolf-dog stood, trying to keep his legs from shaking. He took one step towards the femme, then paused, unsure what to do next. Should he advance closer to the she-dog, or sit back down? He looked around quickly as if searching for the answer. When his eyes landed on the femme he sat back down, as his legs didn't seem to be able to hold his weight. God, she's holding me prisoner and she's not even touching me! Iron Rust stared at the femme, his eyes filled with wonder and awe. Why is this beautiful creature staying here with me? She could be with any dog, why me? The male debated on asking her that, but decided not to, as it could make her do just what he feared, leave.

Kiyax smirked at his remark, "you've never seen any dog like me before either..." She put in quickly, her eyes flickering with amusement. She watched as Iron Rust took a step forward, and than flopped back down on his hindquarters. The Dark she-dog barely flinched, to her he looked as if he was a bit sick to the stomach! Kiyax tightened her jaw, trying not to laugh, she thought quickly "He's more of a mess than I thought! Walking toward him, she brushed her tail under his chin, pretending to feel bad. "Awe, sittings not going to get you anywhere!" She woofed, words tricky and amused. Her eyes gleamed and she stared innocently into his shocked orbs. Touching her nose tip to his cheek she breathed, "maybe a little run would do you good, a big dog like you should have no problem with that! Hmm?" Pulling back her muzzle, Kiyax smiled prettily and moved gracefully to the clearings edge. She posed for a moment, teeth glinting head held high. "See if you can catch me, Iron Rust!" The long legged femme laughed, sliding his name across her tongue. Her hindquarters tensed, she turned and bounded suddenly through the brush, just barely rattling the leaves. Forepaws landed lightly on the mossy ground and she was off! She lurched forward and sped easily through the tightly packed trees, her speed gaining.

Iron Rust stared at the place the femme had been a few seconds before. She's right, I've never seen a dog like her before! When he noticed she had dissapeared and didn't seem to be coming back, the wolf-dog leapt to his feet. "Yeah, no problem. He looked around quickly, trying to spot the femme. Up ahead, Iron Rust saw a bushy tail dissapearing through the plant growth. He held back a "wait up" and took of head-long through the plants. With a few lounges of his long legs, he was soon about halfway caught up to the she-dog. Her form seemed to be growing larger as he caught up, trees and branches whipping dangerously close past his maw. A few more strokes of his powerful legs and Kiyax's tail was nearly close enough for Iron Rust to catch within his strong jaws. The male increased his speed, moving his head up to her haunches. He playfully nipped her rump, then laughed.

Kiyax pricked her ears as she heard the steady thumping of his large paws against earth, she had purposely slowed, not wanting to loss him, yet. Her smile broadened as she felt his hot breath close to her tail, just a few more strides. She felt his jaws clamp gently around her hindquarters and than pull back, Iron Rust laughed. Kiyax let him fall into step with her momentarily, making sure her paws barely touched the ground. Suddenly she leaped sideways and closed her fangs lightly around his ear tip. Her touch was faint and quick before she let go and surged forward with a small burst of sped. The femme snickered and turned sharply to the right before he could catch up with her. "Come on, is that the best you can do?" Kiyax barked sharply, jumping skillfully over a fallen tree. Laughing out loud, she pushed her legs harder, making quick sudden turns and dodging brambles. Kiyax strained her ears, just barely making out the sound of paws crashing through the undergrowth. Taking one last leap forward she bolted past rows of black barked trees, practically flying over the leaf litter. The she-dog was closing in on top speed, the feeling of endless energy pumping through her blood.

The male dog had jumped to the side slightly when Kiyax had bitten his ear. His ear flicked back, laying tight against his head, then flicked back forward. Iron Rust nipped at Kiyax again, but only closed with a click as the femme dodged quickly away. He watched with interest as the she-dog dodged around bushes and brambles with the ease of a young rabbit. Adrenalin pumped through the wolf-dog's veins, giving him a surge of energy. His legs seemed strong as iron, for which he had been named. The muscles began to work double time, sending Iron Rust surging through the woods faster, helping him close in on his prey, the she-dog. Up ahead he could hear disturbed leaves fluttering, so he locked his sharp eyes on that spot. Sunlight dappled Kiyax's fur as she ran, helping Iron Rust keep his eyes on her. He changed his direction so he was running her way, soon catching up to her. "Gotcha now!" The male lunged through the air, his large paws outstretched. They landed on the hind end of the femme, knocking her down. Iron Rust landed on top of her, then quickly leapt off. He smiled down at Kiyax.

In a mad flurry of leaves Kiyax sprawled to the ground, she yelped with surprise as she had not been expecting the attack. She knew it was Iron Rust by the sound of his voice, shaking a stray leaf off her muzzle the dark femme looked up into the smiling face of the wolf-dog. Confused she gaped in awe for a second, usually no dog could catch her! "Your not bad..." she admitted hotly, although a small smirk escaped her lips. Grunting, Kiyax pulled herself to her paws, debrief falling from her coat. Removing the rest of the leaves from her fur, the Sheba Inu sighed and looked over at the brute. Prancing over to his side, she brushed his cheek and clamped her jaws gently around his maw in a playful manner. When she finally let go, her eyes gleamed craftfuly, "Your a lucky dog Iron Rust! She laughed. Giving him a swift nod, Kiyax turned and padded quietly into the brush, leaves brushing her pelt. In a quick second the foliage swallowed her whole and there was no more sound. As she walked a thought crossed her mind, would he follow her? Kiyax snorted, it didn't matter she wasn't going anywhere in particular. It was always this way, the brutes lost interest in her and she in them, although she had never had such a chase!

The wolfdog watched the femme leave and debated on following her. She might have had enough of me, as it has happened before. He didn't want to be attacked by her if he did follow and she didn't want him to, but he didn't want to loose her either. Now which should I choose?! Iron Rust paced back and forth a few times, trying to find the answer. Suddenly, his maw dropped to the ground and his nose sniffed her trail. Her scent was strong as if was fresh, so it was easy enough to follow. His paws began to step forward, one ahead of the other, as if making the decision for him. He was on his way, trailing a she-dog he had only just met, maybe walking strait into the jaws of death. His eyes scanned ahead, watching for Kiyax so he didn't come upon her unexpectedly. The form of the female didn't come into view. "Where did she go?" the male murmered quietly. His ears flicked to the side suddenly. He had barely noticed the slight sound, but his ears didn't let him ignore it. His apex turned to the left, his ears seeming to amplify the sound. It was foot falls, breathing. His brown eyes scanned the foliage expectantly, watching for the sheba inu. There she is! I haven't lost her after all! Iron Rust held back a small yip of pleasure as he watched her wander around. He slowly laid his form to the ground, watching her, waiting for her to detect his scent on the air.
