Kiyax touched her nose to the dusty floor, it was cold, making her shoulders twitch, the smell of human was unmistakably strong. Snorting she lifted her head and pointed her muzzle in the air. There was a faint scent of dog, but it was old, nothing new to her. The little Sheba Inu lay her ears flat, and starred ahead at the empty hallway before her. Nothing stirred, a cold silence that made even Kiyax shuffle her feet. "I'm alone" she muttered quietly to herself, a little smirk crossed her face but didn't last long. Finally she padded forward, her claws clicking rhythmically against the tiles. Her sharp eyes darted here and there, waiting, watching for nothing in particular. As she came to a turn in the hallway, a cobweb brushed across her maw. Kiyax sneezed and shook her head, wiping it away. The dark femme kept walking until she came across a small room, cold air was rushing out of its half closed door. Curiously she pushed it the rest of the way open, to her surprise the back wall was totally gone leaving it vulnerable to the outside world. A small breeze was rushing through it and Kiyax noticed that the only thing in the room was a desk and many scattered papers lining the floor. Unhesitant she bounded eagerly into the room, wanting to see the view. She stopped on the edge of the gaping hole in the wall and looked at the world below her. Kiyax grinned, she could see everything from here! Laughing to herself, she turned and crouching low leaped on top of the old desk. Papers scattered everywhere as she landed, but the room was already to much of a mess for anyone to notice. Kiyax sighed and once again faced the open wall, this new perch was just what she needed! Holding her head high, Kiyax puffed out her chest and parted her jaws. She let out a howl that could be heard even over the sound of the wind. It was a call of dominance, strength and a warning to let dogs know she was here, and wasn't one to be messed with!

Darkness had been walking by the hospital, just looking for somthing to do, when a small flurry of movement flashed by the corner of her eye. She looked up quickly and saw a dog jump up onto a desk that was in a room that was missing a wall. She watched, slightly amused, as a few sheets of paper fluttered down to the ground. One of them landed on her back, so she shifted her fur in irritation to make the paper continue it's journey to the ground. Darkness looked back up to the room and listened to the long howl of the dog. By the sound of the howl she knew that it was Sheba Inu. The darkness of the howl made her shiver in pleasure. She loved things dark, deadly. The she-husky debated on howling back, but didn't want to fight today, so she simply sat and waited for the shedog to notice the dark form of Darkness.

Kiyax lowered her maw, satisfied with what she had done. For a moment she listened as the wind carried the echoing howl across the city, than it was gone. She nodded once when suddenly movement caught her eye. The dark femme held her muzzle tight and let the scents come to her. She gritted her teeth when the obvious smell of a she-dog over powered anything else. So there was a femme in the room with her, still Kiyax didn't turn her sharp head. Instead she smirked and chuckled lightly to herself, eyes closed. "Ah, I see I'm not the only one who's found this room" The Sheba Inu spoke suddenly without turning her head, her ice sharp voice breaking the rooms silence. Kiyax wondered how long she had been here, but it didn't matter to her. Sighing, the dark finally decided to turn around. She spotted a very dark colored black husky sitting amoungst the shadows. Kiyax favored her own piratically sable colored pelt for it two helped her blend in with the dark. The little femme snickered to herself, by the scent and glare in the other she-dogs eyes, Kiyax could tell she was another dark.

Darkness gave a wolfish grin to the she-dog when it finally noticed her. Indeed, you are not, for as you can surely smell, there are many dog marks here. As Darkness finished speaking, she raised her muzzle into the air and let the scents seive through her twitching black nose. There were many marks, ranging from dark to light. Bloodred framed her vision at the thought of a light. She hated light dogs, the thought of their peace-making sickned her. Darkness suddenly realised that her hackles had stood up as well at the thought of a light dog, and rearranged her fur to make them lay flat again. She then turned hear head back to the female. If you would like, I will leave here, for there is nothing for me to do here. Darkness laid her ears back on her head as she waited for the other dog's reply.

The tricky little femme watched with interest as the other she-dog raised her hackles, and than lowered them again. She raised her lip in confusion but kept quite until her new visitor asked her a question. Kiyax merely shrugged, "stay, go...it doesn't matter to me!" She replied cooley. It wasn't really a lye, truthfully the Sheba Inu didn't care, but she was eager to get moving along herself. Sucking in the fresh cold air, Kiyax searched her scent for anything that would tell her about this dog. All she found was that she was clearly not afraid to shed blood for the scent was sure. Narrowing her eyes, Kiyax also noticed that there was the scent of a brute amoungst the blood and fur. "She must have a mate!" She thought, not at all surprised by this. Satisfied by her findings, Kiyax looked the she-dog up and down. The black husky was bigger than her, but that also didn't come as a surprise to the icy mooded Kiyax. Smirking, Kiyax turned her head towards the open wall letting the cool wind ruffle her fur. From the sound of it, the other dog was clearly bored, although Kiyax wasn't all that excited either.

Darkness suddenly dropped down to the ground, bunched her rock hard leg muscles, and lunged up into the air just above the other she-dog. She snapped her jaws shut with an audible snap, crunching the delicate bones of a small barn swallow that had been tending to it's nest in the small room. Darkness then leaned back, stopping herself just on the edge of the drop off of the building. Without looking at the Sheba Inu, Darkness tossed her head up throwing the small swallow into the air, and catching it in her jaws. She then chomped on the small bird a few times, reveling in the crunching of the bones, and swallowed. Blood dripped from her jaws and reddened her teeth as grinned at the she dog. She was happier now, as she always was after she killed something. Darkness ran her toung along the outside of her maw, trying to catch every precious drop of blood. Once she got all the blood she could get, Darkness shook herself, sending small droplets of blood to spatter the walls. She looked around to admire her handiwork, and then looked back to the she-dog with a satisfied look on her face. By the way, what is your name?

Kiyax watched the strange dog swallow her kill whole, she pricked her ears forward in interest and grinned. "My mother named me Kiyax" She barked in reply to the husky's question. Her gaze drifted over the blood splattered ground, there where a few feathers but that was all that was left of the bird. Kiyax snorted, wondering why any dog would want to just eat there food without even so much of a bite! She herself enjoyed the savory flavor of the warm flesh between her teeth and blood on her tongue. The thought made the Sheba Inu lick her jaws and she quickly turned her head toward the open wall, wishing she hadn't thought of it just now. Usually Kiyax was good about keeping herself to hungered, snacking on old carcass's and every once and a while a rat. She didn't like to take the time to hunt, but when she did catch something fresh, she liked to take her time on the meal. Shaking her sharp head, Kiyax rose to her paws and stared back at the she-dog. Curiously she smiled, "what do they call you?" She put in cooley.

I named myself Darkness, for that is my favorite place to be. the she husky replied. It is also what best describes me and my soul. The black dog smirked at the darkness of what she had just said. She turned and walked over to the edge of the floor and looked out into the open space. A thought raced through her brain, the thought of throwing and enemy over the edge of the building. She shivered in pleasure as her imagination played the sounds of the crunching of bones and splatting of flesh through her mind. Darkness shook her head to rid herself of the thought and turned back to Kiyax. She rolled the other dogs name around in her head. Kiyax, an interesting name. I haven't heard that one before. She liked the name. The she dog looked back to other.

"Darkness..." Kiyax murmured to herself, the name suited her well. She shifted her haunches, ice like eyes following the husky as she walked to the building edge and stood still. For a moment Kiyax wondered what she could be thinking, but the evil look on her face gave it all away. It was obvious she was planning something, by the pleasure smile on her maw. Darkness looked over at her and Kiyax nodded once, "It describes you well!" She huffed, it was simple yet bone chilling. Slowly Kiyax padded over to Darkness's side, the wind tugged gently at her fur. It carried the scent of rain, and Kiyax quickly decided she would stay in the human building that night. She carefully studied the sky, its soft pink hue had gone leaving a dirty gray that engulfed the sunset completely. Curiously she glanced over at Darkness, "So..." she began, "do you have a mate?" Kiyax asked, even though she already knew the answer. It never really occurred to her to even think about having a mate, she had never really thought about it that much. Her life so far, seemed to circle revenge, which she was still planning on getting.

Darkness looked over to Kiyax with a surprised look on her face. She didn't understand why the she-dog would want to know something like that. Yes, I do. A far off look came onto Darkness' face. She was thinking about her mate and his pup, wondering what they were doing at the moment without her. When she realised she had a dreamy look on her face, Darkness shook her self, ridding her face of the expression. His name is Killer, and he has a pup named Moon Blood. She turned back to the Sheba Inu with an unreadable expression on her face. What about you? Do you have a special someone?

Kiyax stiffened, her paws gripped the cool floor tighter as if she would fall off the buildings edge. "Well I..." she began suddenly, maw parted awkwardly as she stumbled over her words. Her jaw clenched and she shook her head, "no, I need to finish what I started before I can get a mate!" Kiyax replied more sternly. Though she knew that it was a complete lie, she would never get to carry out her revenge because they where probably long dead by now. And as for a mate, well her life had been so caught up in cold blood that she never had even got a chance to think about love. There was a moment of silence and Kiyax snorted, even though she had obviously never met Killer, the change in her expression made her realize that Darkness really cared about him. Kiyax looked away, all her life she had been taught to hate, there had never been any room for love. "Maybe we should get going!" Kiyax growled, trying to ride herself of the thoughts. She was also hoping to find somewhere to lay down around here, and this broken room wasn't very comfortable looking.

Darkness recoiled slightly inside when the female had reacted harshly to her questions. I wonder what happened to her that she gets so upset about that? Darkness mentally shrugged her shoulders and looked over to the Sheba Inu. She agreed with the she-dog when she said it was time to move on, for the wind was freely blowing through the missing wall, scattering papers in it's breezes. Darkness shivered slightly as the cold air seived through her black fur, and turned to go. "Indeed, I don't think that this would be a good place to spend the night." Darkness walked thorugh the door, already planning on finding some old human clothes that she could arrange into a nice bed.
