Trickling water. That's what she heard. The white Husky's tongue was hanging out the side of her mouth. Her white fur was a light brown, from giving herself dirt baths and romping in the mud puddles left by rains. Her body moved slowly towards the stream, her head lowered, eyes darting around, tail gently swinging behind her. Jazzy had been raised to be alert, always ready for an enemy to pounce out and attack. Seeing nothing, she loosened up a bit, lowering her muzzle to the cool water. She drank to her heart's content, until she felt her stomach rounding tightly. Sighing, she lowered herself to the ground, putting up her guard again. As you look closer at her, you can see her eyes were tired, scared. You saw the deep cut running across her muzzle, ending close to her left eye. Her right forepaw was a bloody mess, the skin ripped and the fur gone. Jazzy dipped the injured paw into the cool water, relaxing as the throbbing pain subsided a bit. She looked around again, letting a soft howl escape her lips. Jazzy was scared to be alone in strange lands. She howled a bit louder, hoping for someone to find her and befriend her perhaps.

Tigra was near by when she heard a howl, it didnt sound fierce or dangerous, just lonely, she curiously padded over to where a white husky was standing, her heavily pregnant belly swaying from side to side as she walked, tigra noticed a cut on her muzzle, and blood pouring from her right front paw, her motherly instinct kicked in, although she was only 3 and expecting her 1st litter, she ran over to the injured female "are you ok?" she asked quickly inspecting the injuries, she gently started to clean the femmes front right paw, her tongue moving in small circles, very gently as so not to cause pain to the unknown, after a while she stopped licking, the paw was looking alot better now, still sore and painful, but better than before, she stood back and looked at the female she smiled in a friendly way "hi" she said "my name is Tigra, who are you?" she asked, her glossy long red coat shining in the sun, her irish setter breed really standing out, aswell as her swollen belly, which rippled with movement every now and again as the puppies moved around, tigra sat down infront of the female and waited for her to answer

Jasper turned her head as she heard the soft thuds of paws hitting the ground. She stood up, careful not to put too much weight on her injured paw. She saw a red Irish Setter before her and sniffed the air. A pregnant female. She wouldn't hurt her. Jazzy felt her heart speed up as the bitch raced towards her and began to lick her injured paw. She felt a growl forming in her throat, but stopped it. This dog didn't mean any harm, just being motherly. She tensed a bit as the dog continued to lick her injury, but soon loosened up. After a few minutes, the stanger backed away and smiled friendly at Jazzy. Jazzy smiled back and said, "Hello, Tigra. I am Jasper, but you can call me Jazzy. Pleased to meet you and thanks." She glanced down at her raw foot and licked it once to show her gratitude towards Tigra. Jazzy sensed no threat from the stranger so she sat down on her haunches, a cool breeze coming and lifting up her fur and fallen leaves. She dipped her head against the current, her thick fur saving her from being too cold. She looked up to Tigra and said, "I believe it will snow soon."
