The almost silent padding of paws crossed the road. There was only one car left in the gas station, and that was beside the conveyobelt of gas pipes. The conveyobelt spanned across the whole station, moving passed all the stations. If he had been a human criminal, he would have known this as a weakness. The conveyobelt in this case was a liability. If you wanted to blow up the station with a single match, you get the belt on fire and it was very quickly spread across to the gas and create a very large explosion. Perfect. It would be almost untraceable, as all CCTV would be destroyed in the explosion. He would know it to be a very good way to get rid of something, but obviously he did not. He was just exploring the world since he had been ordered to. That was what Diefenbaker did, exactly what he was told by a superior officer.
Not a great deal went through the head of Diefenbaker when he wasn't on assignment. Not a lot needed to go through it. Most of the time he was a hired hand, so assignments were all that took up his time. Always he was thinking of different ways he could succeed, differnent escape routes and different entrances. The most stratigical place to be in a room and the best place to be if a fight broke out. Since he was doing his traditional Diefenbaker act, he was at the moment thinking that if a fight broke out in here, he'd want to be either on this car, as a highpoint in the room, or on the convayerbelt. Preferably the converyerbelt as it spanned most of the room, giving him the oppertunity to move around the whole room easily and without hinderance.
Quickly and quietly he stepped around the conveyobelt, off the car and proceeded onwards, the pads of his paws muffling the sound. He was at a loss for what to do. His impassive features and dark set eyes looked around. All he could think of doing was watching. Keeping guard. Of nothing really, just until he was needed back at his pack. He leapt lightly, silently onto the conveyobelt before getting up onto the car's dusty roof. His bushy tail swept the dust into flurries as he seated himself, survaying the land infront of him, his tail curling around his paws.

The dust rose inside the car, as he Mono silently turned over. His dreams filled with beautiful colours and the perfect puppy hood he never had. Parents that spent all day teaching him right from wrong and playing with him non stop and the whole dream was filled with laughter. A smile slid across Mono’s face. Coughing as the dust caused breathing difficulties, he looked around to see it was only a dream yet again. He sighed lightly, stretching out his little snow painted paws. A squeal that was supposed to be a yawn came from his delicate little muzzle. Mono looked around the car before slowly getting up, and sniffing the area. Wow, how did I ends up here? Well it was warm to sleep in, theres gotsa be fun stuff to do here, am I right? Mono let out a high shrill bark of joy. Today is gonna be lotsa fun! He stated happily as his tail wagged back and forth. Mono looked at the trails of dust that came from the filthy sofa when he lifted his paws, he grinned mischievously and lifted both his front paws as his little limbs could go, before banging it down on the sofa with all the force he had. A cloud of dusted jumped out of the sofa causing Mono to sneeze, he tilted his head to the side, before giggling gleefully with his experiment. Yep! Lotsa fun!

Diefenbaker had always been a sedate dog. He did what he was told when he was told to do it. It was what had lead his pack. He was the hunter, the tracker of them all. He followed the scent if they wanted to attack another group. Found ways around the patterns of the wind so they could sneak up quietly, do whatever the were going to do quietly and leave again. People tended to avoid the pack that lead through the mountains. He didn't move, he was more of a statue than anything else. If it wasn't for his occasional blink, he would have been a staute. A bird could have landed on his head and he wouldn't know what to do. He was used to following orders, following them to the letter. He breathed in a deep breath, opening eyes from the position they had been in.
There was a new smell in the air. A young dog. He moved his head ever so slowly, dark eyes looking out for the dog. A puppy almost, very young, carefree by the sound it was making. He raised himself to all four paws and moved down the windsheilf of the car and onto the bonnet. He could see the dog now, yes a puppy as he had thought. His fluffy tail moved milimetres across the air as he walked on silent paws. He stopped a few metres from the waywould, cheerful puppy. His dark eyes watched for a minute, a whole minute waiting for the puppy to notice him. "Alone?" He asked, one word. Perfect articulation with the civility that made him seem as if he belonged in the 19th Century rather than the 21st. He was nothing if he was not polite, was Diefenbaker.

Mono started pawing at the old and dusty seat, he then jumped up and twisted in the air, landing on his back surrounded by dust, he let out a screeching giggle of joy. He got up and shook his entire body of thoroughly so that there was no dust in his pure white fur. Mono jumped as he was taken by surprise of another dog, he yelped and jumped down into the gap between the front and back seat. W-who are you? Mono said, still scared. He looked closely at the dog, a big brute, He could tears me up into little whites pieces of I lets him! I betta be on my bestest behaviour or he will eats me! after deliberating his plan Mono jumped up from the floor of the car on the seat, his tail wagging freely. Hallo Mr sir, I’m Mono nice to meets you! Mono said while trying to bow, though he lost balance and fell over on his left, a giggle slipped through his maw. I'm sorry Mr Sir, did you see the big dust cloud I mades? Pretty cool huh Mr Sir? Mono smiled, tail wagging and eyes beaming, awaiting the newly christened Mr Sir’s response.
