Four paws found thier way through the pebble strewn paths. Not that there were any paths around here. Sharp, jagged rocks were there to cut and bruise you, slippery rocks ready to throw you out over a precipise or two. Large paws navigated this formiddable terrain, pulling a large cargo. Strong jaws were clamped around this cargo as it dragged a path after it. A train of stones, sand and a large dent. Jaws that had been bred for generations. That was one point of a Doberman, they were strong, vicious. Guard dogs. Now all that breeding had gone to the advancage of the Doberman. In Hunting.
Paradoxx dropped the deer on the side of the path he was cutting himself. His usually pink tongue was tinged red. His thin tail hung down between his back legs before he sat down beside the deer's carcass. His tongue was over the canines on the right side of his jaws as he panted, the dark sky above mirroring the heart of most of the residents. Paradoxx had lived here for quite some time, and knew Siren personally. That didn't mean they talked a lot, it was just they had met a while previously. Joining the pack when it had just been formed, since he had met Siren a few months before on the streets. Both had shared the same ideals, the same ideas. Different families, same difference.
Paradoxx picked up the deer once more in his jaws. It was only a small one, hardly big enough for three to feast from. He began dragging it up the hill once more, eyes shining in the failing light of dusk. He pulled it up higher, to a vantage point where the wind would waft his and the deers smell across the lands. He doubted whether Siren would be far off, or anyone else for that matter. He lay down in the sand and pebble covered gouge he'd made by dragging the deer and let his tongue loll out as he panted, watching over the tretcherous plains, interested.

CLICK FOR PICTURE Siren's paws bounced as he headed into Midnight Canyon. Above him, the sky was a midnight blue color, with stars twinkling merrily beside a full moon. The shepherd brute faded in and out of view as the shadows elongated and stretched, seemingly to reach for him. Ears were rasied on either side of his skull, acoustics cupping any noise that might come to them. Nose twitched as his blades and pelvis rolled easily with each step, tail hanging down between his back hocks. He was out just exploring his own terf.
OF course potential pack mates were a priority anyway so that was another major reason why he was out and about this time of night. Somehow during the day it was much harder. Now, being that the temperature dropped, it was definitely colder, but that didn't bother him much. A few birds were flying, but around him crickets hummed in all directions. The ground before him was composed of orange dirt, which slightly stained his pads. Small dust clouds were kicked up behind him as he trotted. Lower jaw dropped salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over the bottom back incisors out the corner of his maw. He panted slightly but it wasn't cause it was hot. Small breaths of steam rose from each nostril as he exhaled.
As he neared a particular spot, he picked up the scent of another dog nearby. A brute. Curious,he followed the scent and came upon the male resting. He approached the male and planted his rump on the ground, tail wrapping around his back legs, Forelegs came around to the front of his chest, keeping his upper body erect. Chocolate brown eyes were locked on him.
"Hello brute, I'm Siren, ruler of the Mafia. What are you doing on my lands?" He asked. His tone was firm, but yet not. He waited.

Paradoxx's dark eyes had skippered across the terrain, falling upon the figure of the leader before it vanished in a bleak shadow. He didn't search around, looking for the next ray of light to illuminate him. Instead he turned his head into the other direction, where a wind was coming from. Paradoxx didn't have a very thick coat, he had never needed one. It would only be needed if he expected to start spending time in the Arctic and the Antarctic. He didn't expect to do that any time soon, so that was fine. He flicked a black ear to dislodge a few pieces of dust that were floating in the air. Orange dust like a haze of gold in the setting sun. Sunsets held nothing for him, they were just a part of the day. By the time the sunset was coming in, you should be up, working. Daylight hours were all well and good, but the darkness was a perfect time for him.
"Hello brute, I'm Siren, ruler of the Mafia. What are you doing on my lands?"
Paradoxx turned his head again. He straightened up from his sitting position into a standing position, beside the Deer and in full line of sight for Siren. "You recruited me here, Siren. Do you not remember?" He asked, eyes glittering in the dying light of the sun. He had met Siren twice before, each time outside of Mafia terratory. First had been in a fight. More of a scuffle. Paraodoxx was always one for a good fight and against two, it didn't matter who the opposition were. Two mafia pure breds could not easily be over come. The second time had been an offer of member ship, for want of a better word. Paradoxx had agreed, and begining to feel hungry, moved off into the forest.
He cast his eyes over the deer as it lay limp beside him. Not his best catch. It was a young animal, one that wouldn't be able to keep up with its herd. There was always honer in the mafia, as well as a perfect sense of humor. Usually you didn't want to be on the receiving end of that humor, but it was good to know that the Mafia had one. The Doberman decided to seat himself again, no need to stand to attention. His hind legs folded neatly as he watched Siren, awaiting his reply.

(I hope you don't mind if i join in.)
The wind carried their scents to her waiting nose, her entire maw facing the direction in which it came. Two of them, both scents equally strong. One was the leader, Siren, she had hear his name was. And the other was a doberman, by the looks of his faint outline against the rocks. Message took in a breath, before climbing the rest of her way towards them. She wasn't really wanting to be annoying, but their reaction to her appearance would judge that.
"Hello, brutes." Message invited herself into the conversation, pulling her tail closer to her body as she thought of the capability of these two. She didn't want to be birthing another set of pups, only to kill them right afterwards. It had happened so many times before, no way did she want it to happen again.
Smiling innocently, Message resisted the strong urge to entice them, her strong wolf scent would definitely pull them in. Why wouldn't any dog not fall for a wolf-doberman? Especially in the Mafia, where brutallity was welcomed. Any brute would die to father wolf pups, they were one of the top animals with a reputation, of course.

Paradoxx moved his head ever so slowly, deep, dark eyes glittering. It hs been said, in describing Paradoxx, that he was a hunter. He doesn't look as if he belonged sitting, he was much more elegant in the run, in the hunt. So, he raised himself off his position. Long, calculating strides seperated each paw he put down. Eyes that flickered faintly red in the dying lights. You could just think he was hungry. He was always hungry. His instincts were rarely put down. His shoulder blades moved smoothly against the muscles that surrounding them. His head was held slightly lower than another dogs' might have been, but that didn't matter. He was searching. His dark eyes didn't miss a great deal, and in a lot of lights the deep mahogany brown did look red. The danger was evidence to this fact. He wasn't a cuddly puppy, he never had been. He was almost in a crouch as he circled the female, his paws almost utterly silent.
His tail flicked without a sound behind him, hanging almost limp, expect for the occasional movement. His dark eyes showed an emotion he didn't mind showing. He didn't mind showing any feelings. The simple hunger he always possessed. His eyes flashed their unnatural red-brown. Scarlet evident behind the pail clinging brown. As if the red and the temptation was trying to break through, trying to reach out, but the thin brown cover was his self control, his ability to stop. And, in any case, if he was hungry, there was a whole deer nestling behind him. His eyes never left the female, even as he circled. He never liked to kill outright. No, that was a lie, a complete and utter fabricaion. He loved to kill outright. He was the hunter, the follower. The dark shadow in the background. His canines clipped together in the quiet, like the fangs of a bat. They were his fangs.
There was glitter of glee in his dark eyes. If Siren had been any other dog, they would have got the same treatment. He liked to circle, the eagle searching around. His white teeth clicked again as he jaw closed, strong canines moved against each other in unison. He changed the direction he was circling in, moving in perceptible plains around the wolf-hybrid. "Good evening." He replied, his slick voice full with the civility it always had.

Message waited, her fur bristling ever so slightly when the brute circled. He seemed dark enough that he wouldn't think twice about force breeding her, and she tightened herself as he opened his mouth. Mess wasn't normally afraid of brutes, but he scared her. Swiveling her ears around, Message turned to Siren, but not after answering. It was a quick nod, more of an acknowledgement that he was there. She didn't want to anger him.
She faced Siren now, waiting for a reply from him at her appearance. He was probably just as bad as this other brute, and wouldn't think twice about hurting her. Once again, Mess tightened, letting no sign of her fear show. Instead, only a slight sign of pleasure revealed, as she tried to make the males less likely to attack her. She was willing to please them, for her life. And she would do anything to keep her heart beating, even if it meant one more litter of pups, possibly even two or three. She would even keep them alive, if they willed. It didn't matter. As long as Message was able to keep a grip on life, she would do it.

Siren grinned at Paradox. He lowered his head slightly and spoke to him again.
"Sorry my mind has been on lots lately. We got some new recruits. " he said and looked at the bitch that had joined them. Once Paradox circled her Siren did the same. While he took his time circling her now slowly taking in her overall appearance. She was a nice looking bitch he had to give her that. He circled around her back, lightly nipping her on her spine as he continued to circle her.
"What are you doing vixen? Are you one of my pack? Or wish to join? For if you are tresspassing I wont hesitate to tell Paradox here to kill you, " Siren said slowly as he soon stopped where he had originally begun and planted his rump back down on the ground, forelegs keeping his upper body erect. The german shepherd kept his ears rotated forward acoustics waiting to her her words.
He never tolerated tresspassing and therefore would not tolerate it now. His chocolate orbs pierced hers while he sat and waited. Soon he would call a Mafia meeting and have everyone gathered around. Giving out ranks was something he took seriously. The female lead, the lead bitch, would be chosen by Siren as though he sees fit. The bitch would have to be approved first of course and prove herself worthy in the first place. Running the mafia was not an easy task at hand.
He glanced to Paradox.
"So you know I will be calling a meeting shortly. I want a pack count, meaning how many members we have. Then, I want you to go out and get some more members. Only darks of course" Siren said and waited for them to speak again.

He had no need for too much...enjoyment of that nature at the moment. Hunting and tracking were his real persuasion. What he could not resist. He could never resist the flow of the hunt, the call to the chase. Sharpened claws clicked on the uneven rocks, mahogany eyes never leaving the female infront of him. He circled her once again and then turned his head away, looking thoughtful. His large shoulders were no longer hunched over like he was preparing to pounce, but had relaxed out, his head rising. He took the circuit around, turning on his quick paws to face Siren and, he didn't need to know her name yet.
"Sorry my mind has been on lots lately. We got some new recruits. "
Paradoxx returned the smile with his own hungry one, scarlet eyes dancing in the shadows of the brown. His long canines clicked together as he pulled his head back slightly, ears moving almost inperceptively in the gloom. His shoulders stayed relaxed as he stood beside his catch. He didn't sit a great deal unless he had nothing better to do. He prefered to stand, it made it easier to chase from a stand still than a sitting position. His eyes flickered over to the bitch. She didn't hold any real interest for him in many ways, not many dogs did. No dogs did. He was his own and his own alone, it could be near impossible to sway him. As has been said: 'When the hunteth start, the hunter can not yet be stopped." All legend and mystery, but it described Paradoxx well.
"What are you doing vixen? Are you one of my pack? Or wish to join? For if you are tresspassing I wont hesitate to tell Paradox here to kill you, "
Paradoxx's lips curled back, not in a snarl but in a grin. A wolfish, hungry lear, eyes fixated upon the bitch's own. A rumble sounded in his strong chest, a contented grinding of watchful happiness. His head lowered slightly, the shoulderblades tensing up, making it easier to pounce if asked. "And, is her name such a secret?" He asked, straightening. His civil tone seemed to be more in place if he was describing the weather. Perfect civility, nothing obtuse or awkward. He spoke as he saw and he was perfectly contented. His voice soft and full of irresistable velvet.
"So you know I will be calling a meeting shortly. I want a pack count, meaning how many members we have. Then, I want you to go out and get some more members. Only darks of course"
His eyes hadn't drifted from Siren as he addressed him again. He stood tall, relaxed. "Can't I even bring in one light to play with?" He asked, eyes glittering against his dark coat.

"I'm of your pack, of course. I wouldn't come here, otherwise, knowing the brutality of you folks. Youwould surely have my head, if you found I wasn't of the mafia." Message winked at Paradoxx, then turned her head back to Siren. "And, my name's Message, but you can call me Mess." She didn't want to make one mistake around these two, especially the lead, Siren. He would definitely tear her apart if she slipped up. Anybody in the mafia would. Even Message wouldn't hesitate to attack anyone, if she wished, of course.
Laughing to herself, Message dipped her front half into a stretch, eyes on Paradoxx at all times. She wasn't about to begin to trust him, and didn't want to begin. He was one of the males that you usually saw wandering the streets, looking for any innocent females to make his. And if they refused, that wuold be the end of them. Yes, Message supposed, that was exactly what she pictured him doing. She shivered slightly at the thought.
"I can bring in some brutes, if you like. Some can't resist. And of course, some females wouldn't think twice about joining the mafia. I have some alliances." Message replied slowly to Siren, swishing her tail when she mentioned brutes. She was being truthful, most of them followed her into a dark alley, and followed her everywhere else, as well. It wasn't a waste of effort, it took none. And if she found a light or two, she would be happy shedding some of their blood, and coming back with bloodied fangs and claws. "I can help out your friend, here. Not all bitches are useless."

»A hunteress wandered into the land of rocks and dirt with a glaring stare of focus engraved into her eyes that almost make her seem like she was on a hunter. Her crown was held slightly low as she weaved her way through the rocks. She was on a journey so it seemed. The rocks of the area would reach up and try to catch her, but her paws moved along them with ease and left them farther behind with each step. Her movement was graceful and agile. She stopped suddenly from her trot to look around at the barren land, but then picked it back up without no time and continued on her way with an upbeat pace.
»Her pearl pelt hung over her frame tightly, showing off her muscles and the fine body that she was gifted with from the gods above. She was a looker, indeed a fine find for any brute stupid enough to try to get her. She was titled 'the sinner with an angel's face' for a reason though. She was beautiful yet dangerous. It was not smart to get too close to her for, though the sight of her may make you wish she was yours, she was not one to follow rules and let most anyone get close enough to see the hatred in her eyes and turn to run. But, on her behalf, they were stupid brutes that did not know how to talk to a lady respectfully, none the less her. So, they had it coming and if it wasn't going to be her who took their meaningless lives, it would of been another fae.
»Her pistons finally halted as her nostrils took in the smells of the area. This was were the mafia was suppose to be. She had heard rumors of it and she wanted to see it for herself. She wanted to gain entry into these lands. She had no where else to go, so she figured she try here first. She was no afraid of the rumors that some had been killed trying to gain loyality here. She had taken stared death down too many times to be afraid of it anymore.
»Her pools looked around and stopped a pack gathering close by. Her maw twisted into a puzzling smirk as she approached, sizing up each of them for laster notes and such. Her crown dipped slightly in a show of respect, but it was nothing ever close to a half bow. It was just her telling them she respect them, but was not weak enough to trus them with her head down. It was a good sign none the less. Her maw patted as she decided to speak. "I've come to join the mafia." She tone was flat and serious. She was not joking, nor going to take any sass if one chose to make fun of her. She was truly unafraid of what could happen to her. "I also come with a gift." She paused as she looked at the members, trying to find the pack leader among them. "On how to gain more members for the pack." She spoke with a bit of power behind her words. Nothing to be taken as disrespectful. It was just how she spoke to make sure they listened.

"I'm of your pack, of course. I wouldn't come here, otherwise, knowing the brutality of you folks. Youwould surely have my head, if you found I wasn't of the mafia."
Paradoxx considered this thought carefully, bright eyes never wavering. "It is a distinct possibility." He replied in his oddly civil tone. It tended to either infuriate or terrify his prey. They way he was utterly polite up until the moment they died. Considering this, he was civil after they died as well, in his own way. Civil in his dictionary did run through murder and other...abominations. He wasn't what you could call, wholesome, just polite. Angry prey made mistakes, but where was the fun in fighting weak prey. There was no...glory. His expression was thoughtful, thinking over the situation. He was still standing, casual and relaxed, bright eyes conveying the hungry eagerness as well. "Brutality is rather an over statement, don't you think? We are just protective." He answered her, oddly no humor evident in his silken voice. The sardonic atmosphere lightening around him, except his eyes. Little reached to change the look in his eyes.
"I can bring in some brutes, if you like. Some can't resist. And of course, some females wouldn't think twice about joining the mafia. I have some alliances."
The slight smile that Paradoxx had been wearing widened. He chuckled softly, turning. He wasn't worried about attack from behind, his reactions had been finely tuned over the last years. Hearing that could notice if something moved so much as a hair, scents all stored up in his head like a filing cabinate. He was looking more across the dark expanse of feral terratory. Somewhere that no-one dared enter a great deal of the time. He couldn't blame them, it wasn't the most hospitable place on earth, but if you led those unwise and gullible into the area. So many lies you could tell, since they wouldn't believe the truth. Most of them were young, inexperienced. The joy radiating off their coats as they skipped behind you. He could already think of a few to bring in for...entertainment purposes. Obviously he'd just watch the youngsters...play. Since that's what they did. Young darklings that needed all the practise they could get. He could think of Parallacci already, the pup really did take after his father in so many ways.
His ears heard the sound before his eyes noticed the pale figure. He elegantly climbed up onto a higher rock, as lithe as a dancer. His tall form was turned away from the pale creature approching, but his tan and black head was pointed in that direction. His wolfish grin was widened over his sharp teeth. His strong jaw was still kept together, his teeth staying still as he lowered his head slightly towards the new female below him. It was a good vantage point on this rock and he liked it. His deep scarletive eyes turned to look over at Siren. He stepped lithely down from the rock towards the new female. His shoulderblades once again moved against their muscles as he walked. Large for his breed in any case, but strong in the hind legs and definately in the jaw.
"I've come to join the mafia. I also come with a gift. On how to gain more members for the pack."
Paradoxx's laugh was more like a bark this time, short and cutting. "I believe that we are aquiring members without even looking." He surmised, begining his traditional light pawed step around the new female. She wished to join, that was up to her. If she survived was a different matter. His smouldering gaze took a good look at her, walking around her with the thoughtful gaze he had bestowed upon Message as well. "Why do you not sound enthusiastic about this?" He asked stopping infront of the pale bitch before resuming his place on the overhanging rock above them. "And whatever happened to proper introductions. Ladies first of course." He was addressing Siren aswell as the female, the glittering in his brown-scarlet eyes now being illuminated by the light of the moon, the pale silver glow high above.

»'I believe that we are aquiring members without even looking.' She looked at bit lurid puzzled for a moment. She was hoping they would of been some what picky in their choosing for who can be in the Mafia and who can not. It did not seem right to let every able mutt to join just because they can. That let her down a bit, but she said nothing about it. She kept it to herself, seeing as it was better that way. Her crown merely nodded slightly to let him know she accepted his presence being near her. She was not one to ignore someone with such a strong presence such as himself.
»Her pools followed the brute of mud as he circled her. She did not move nor stress. She just kept a watchful eye for she did not trust anyone yet. He could try to lash out on her for all she knew. She kept ready and able to attack without showing it. But, it was not needed. 'Why do you not sound enthusiastic about this?' His voice echoed into her thorns as she took in his words. She kept her blades close together and said nothing. She would of smartassed him, but if she wasn't to fit in at all and not get killed then it was best to show some respect.
»She watched him as he jumped onto a rock and stood tall among them. She relaxed slightly for the moment that he was not circling her and she could watch him more closely now. Was he the leader? He had to be from the way he was acting. Her orbs searched between the two least and then back to the unknown bastard that spoke to her first. She would not judge him just yet and wait for the others to speak as well. But, the unknown male spoke again and she listened to his words. 'And whatever happened to proper introductions. Ladies first of course.' She smirked lightly at his comment as she stepped a paw forward and took a slight bow as if to mock his words of 'proper introductions' but she was mostly just relaxing a bit. "Lattan." Her words were lighter now, but nothing to playful at all. She stood up tall and watched the others.
OOC_I have a plot idea. It's a lil rough, but I hope you get the idea. Comment and add to it please!

A new scent entered the air, that of a female. Turning slightly, Message found the female joining the three of them, as it now became four. Paradoxx cirlced her as he had Mess, and they all seemed to be waiting for Siren's reaction. Message quietly observed the female, herself, finding her almost exactly the same as herself. Built much the same, like sisters seperated at birth. Which was quite likely, but probably not true.
"Message." She was talknig to the female alone, the brutes already knew her name. Tassel swinging lightly, Message quickly found herself dug into trust with this female, although she hadn't yet said a word to her. Message quickly leaped out of the trust, observing the female once more before lightening and sitting back down in her spot. She watched as Paradoxx asked a few questions, then seemed to get what he wanted and shut his maw for the time being. Message followed his lead, keepign her jaws tight, waiting for their leader to speak his opinion. He seemed to be taking al this in, if not, just deciding whether or not to kill the new female, Lattan, she had said her name was, or accept her into the already growing pack.

CLICK FOR PICTURE Siren listened to Messages response about bringing in some more brutes. Immediately, Siren raised a lip, exposing one white canine.
"Absolutely not. Unless you can promise me that they will not challenge me for the lead spot. If you can promise me that, then by all means you can bring in brutes," Siren said and turned his chocoalte brown orbs on to the new fae that had joined them. Her name was Lattan. Siren let out a woof and regarded her.
"Welcome to the mafia, Message and Lattan." He listened to Paradox's words about brutality. He smirked and responded.
"Brutality is something that I grew up with. True, we do protect, but dont forget we are darks as well and follow the dark paths. There's nothing really that could change us anyway. I refuse to change my ways for anyone. They dont like it they can kiss my ass."
Siren yawned, letting his salmon pink tongue curling back into his maw, as his jaws snapped shut again and he regarded his new pack. He was getting members and it was really good. He was proud to be ruling such a fine pack. The new fae, was a white german shepherd. His eyes swiftly moved over her before turning onto the others. Then he realized that Paradox had asked about bringing one light in to play with. Siren thought about it for a moment before speaking again.
"Perhaps I will allow some lights to come in as slaves. You may not however, kill them. But do as you want with them." he said and let his two ears rotate around listening to the sounds of the land. He plyinhaled deeply and waited for them to speak again.

"Lattan."
Paradoxx laugh was rumble deep in his muscular chest. He tended not to seat himself for too long, and remained standing, watching the self named 'Lattan' with inquisitive eyes. "And what is your name to you?" He asked, voice silken like a pebble. Soft like a wave before it rips the beach of its layers of sand, carving away the cliff face behind. Soft, but without any sing of deadly intent. That was not how Paradoxx worked. He didn't sink as low as to snarl and smother. He let. He might have been talking about the weather for his civil tone. How much fun. The question was simply asking what value she held in her name. Giving away names could be a dangerous action. His eyes glittered as he stayed in his casual stance, all muscles relaxed and laid back, not even his eyes were on the move.
"Message."
His head moved in a smooth, slow arc towards Message. "The same question to yourself. Is your name of more importance, we could easily call you something different." Again his voice was conversation, asking whether he should call her something utterly different, something he could make up. Message had not been talking to him, of course, but did that matter. He could easily hear the conversation as he was within three metres of all the dogs gathered around the dead corpse of the deer.
"Absolutely not. Unless you can promise me that they will not challenge me for the lead spot. If you can promise me that, then by all means you can bring in brutes," "Brutality is something that I grew up with. True, we do protect, but dont forget we are darks as well and follow the dark paths. There's nothing really that could change us anyway. I refuse to change my ways for anyone. They dont like it they can kiss my ass."
Paradoxx eyed Siren. "No-one will take your place, Siren, and survive more than an hour. Not with me around. Loyalty is not taken lightly by the mafia." The last scentence was also said to the two females. He chuckled again, his eyes flicking between each of them and giving Siren a side-long smile. How much enjoyment he got out of new...recruits. His jaw was still closed, every now and then his canines clicked as he moved his strong jaw muscles. His eyes glinted at Sirens next words "Well said. I was simply being polite for the ladies we have present." He shared the slight smile with Siren, his tail moving milimetres in each direction i nthe breeze that whipped through the clearing of scattered rocks and dangerous footing.
"Perhaps I will allow some lights to come in as slaves. You may not however, kill them. But do as you want with them."
Paradoxx smile hadn't faded and it widened into the malevolent wolfish grin, exposing his sharp teeth once more. "No killing. A fair autication." His articulation never faultering as he nodded very slighty, his head swinging to glance over at both the females, the hunger in his eyes.
