An almost erie feeling flooded over the male as he gulped in fright of he surrounding gloominess of the area. It was more like someone was watching him, and he hated when that feeling came. It was so different, you can almost feel it. All of those bodies, just lying in the ground. Something bad would probably have to happen here. With a crack of a twig, his body spun around, his blood pumping through his veins faster then he ever thought possible. He knew it! Someone was watching him! Eyes scanned the land rapidly as he bunched his muscles quickly, preparing for anything that was to happen.
Body spun around once more as he blinked, the scraping sound was heard again, an he walked forward, his nose placed on one of the stones which was engraved to someone's name. He had no idea who this creature was, but a sudden feeling of sorrow rushed over him. What if that person never got to say good bye? There it was again! The horrid sound, but now as he got closer it sounded more like a rustle of leaves. He didn't dare speak a word as his body inched forward much like a snails pace.
A shiver ran down his spine as his body quivered in fear of the animal behind the stone. Another clawing sound was heard as he looked up and was hit with a rush of cold air. A black bird brushed past his body quickly as he jumped back in fear. This was the thing he was scared of the whole time? Ugh, god. His body turned around to watch the bird fly away, its wings spread like there was no care in the words. oh, how he wished he could fly, it would have been the most fun event that was possible. But, I guess were all made to do the things that we can do... right?
Eyes scanned the land around him to make sure no one important was watching, and luckily, no one that he could see was. Only a slight cool breeze flipped his slightly curly coat and brushed their hands through his untangled fur. Unlike any other, this breeze was warm, which could have meant two thing; numero uno, some dog was really close, and it was so close he could feel its body heat, yeah right. numero dos; the sun had just peaked its head over the clouds. That sounds better... kinda...

Cyanide's trio colored body shimmered under the moonlight as she made her way into the Cemetary. Her ears were lifted on either side of her head, picking up the faint noises that surrounded this place at night. Above her, the moonlight shimmered down, peering out from behind a few clouds. In the distance, a few crows and owls hooted. She smirked. She loved being in this type of place. It always made her feel so welcoming. Strange isn't it?
Blades and pelvis rolled easily with each step, paws hardly making a noise on the ground. Pads leaving perfect impressions behind. Her tail was hanging down between her back legs, swaying slightly with the motion of the lope. Ice blue orbs were locked in front of her as she wormed her way around the gravestones. Lower jaw was dropped ,salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over her bottom two canines as she panted slightly. While it was fall/autumn, the weather had taken a chilly turn. The leaves on trees had died and now littered the cemetary floor. Some of the trees had died and now stood, knarled and decaying.
A breeze whipped several patches of her fur in several directions, making her skin tingle. She stopped and sniffed the air. A male dog was nearby. Excellent she thought smirking as she headed toward him. Cyanide spied him and stopped in front of him, slipping her haunches into a sitting position, letting her back tail wrap around her back legs tightly, flicking every once and a while. Forelegs came around to teh front of her chest, keeping her upper body erect. She looked at him, blue orbs catching the moonlight, making them glow slightly.
"Well well...what do you we have here?" she asked in a cooing tone , somewhat flirty. Ears lifted on both sides of her head as she sat there, smirking at the male, while she waited for him to respond.

His tan brow furrowed as he smiled that smile he could only pull off. The grin masked up only slightly, so it was more of a smirk at times, but still attractive all the way. Blue eyes dug deep through her body as he looked the female over and over again. She looked much like him, same blue eyes, same build. She must of had some sort of his breed buried deep inside her.
"Well well...what do you we have here?"
It was only a shrug as she sat down and let his smile drop. Her tone sounded quite flirty, and h had a feeling she would push him to want to o something that he probably could have never dreamed of wanting to do. he wouldn't do it, no, he would never. That was just disgusting. Eyes rolled as she let his tail thump on the ground, opening his maw so his smooth flowing lyrics could emit like how he thought they would.
"I'm Moose, who might you be?"
Only a small snicker rang in his head, for his voice had only the slightest lisp added to it. Even when he spoke his name it sounded like he extended the s to make it sound more like a slithering sound. it wasn't like the strange lisps, this one was attractive, and would only draw you closer, for it just made you want to love him. he seemed innocent and like he would never do anything. Which, was half of the truth.
Trees swayed behind him as eyes glanced away from the female. her black markings stuck with everywhere he had glanced. this female probably had a mate, but it was just fine to have a simple crush. it wasn't like he would tell her... or her mate--- if she had one. merle fur shook as his body quaked from the cold, you could see him shivering under his fur coat as he grinned at the female again. Boy, it was just so could out... maybe there were some sort of spirits around...
As if on cue, his body finally gave in, standing up and beginning to pace in a couple of circles before he went to lay dow on his stomach. that would keep him warm. the only problem with that was he hoped the female didn't mind. I mean, she was probably wondering how she ended up with such a freak at the moment... Another grin spread across his maw as he tried to hide his thoughts.

Cyanide's smirk only broadened as the male named Moose layed down on his stomach. She remained sitting as she cocked her head to the side, looking at him. He was looking a lot like her though, but still. She wasn't the type to become friends with THAT easily. She heard him ask her name and decided to have a bit of fun with him.
"My name? Now why would I tell you?" she smirked as she felt another breeze toy with a few patches of her fur around. Her tail began flicking behind her ,sweeping across the ground.
"I'm Cyanide, ruler of the Cambridge pack," she said proudly, puffing out her chest. Well she ruled with Harley as well, but he was much younger than she was. Ears were still pricked forward, acoustics cupping any words that might come out of his mouth. Cyanide didn't know if he knew about the packs yet, or if he cared at that point really. Her blue orbs caught the silver moonlight, making her appear almost ghostly now. Behind her the trees swayed and bowed from the force of the wind. At some points it even howled. In the distance, she could hear the crows squawking and the owl hooting.
"Well, Moose, what brings you out here to this lovely location?" she asked smoothly as she began slowly circling him, taking in his overall physique. He was well built that was prominent. When Cyanide stopped circling him, she stood in the same spot where she had originally begun. Her tail drooped down between her back legs as she stood on all fours squarely. The shadows of the cemetary elongated and stretched but she remained standing where she was. She wondered if this brute was scared of being there. A soft laugh almost escaped her lips but she caught herself. Why? She was normally laughing hysterically at others misfortunes and fears. Why was she not doing that now? Shaking her head, she waited for Moose to respond.

A small figure slunk slowly into the graveyard, ears pinned back, eyes flickering from one place to another wearily. The moonlight flooded the cemetary with eerie light, higlighting the pups ebony and tan coat. The shiba inu quaked with fear. He was no brave or valient brute, and this place scared the hell out of him. What is this place? he thought, the sound of his own voice boomed loudly in his mind, making him stop abruptly and fling himself to the ground, paws over his muzzle, eyes shut tight. His ears twitched delicately, straining to catch the sound of anything. The silence clung to him and he breathed a shakey sigh of relief, even the hammering of his heart against his chest seemed like the deep, terrifying rumble of an earthquake to him.
Slowly he opened his eyelids one by one and peered out into the darkness and gloom. There was a faint, glowing light in the distance, where the moon was desending into void, and behind him the sun was rising. The twinkling stars began to fade, and tetchily the male removed the paws from his maw and stood slowly up.
He turned around, mahogany orbs gazing at the horizon on which the sunrise began to cast a faint golden light across the graveyard. Barley immidiatly began to feel better, but he swung around instintively when he heard voices in the distance. His heart began to pound his chest again, his eyes growing large with fear.
He pressed his body to the ground, hoping they hadn't seen his small figure, and began to creep forward toward the gravestone nearest to them. His sharp claws dug into the soil, as if clinging for life from the edge of a cliff. Reaching the gravestone he pressed his body against it and peered at it. The writing on it was etched faintly, and he couldn't make it out. He wondered why these animals buried their dead, it seemed like a strange notion to Barley.
Shaking the thought away he crept forward slowly and peered around the side of the gravestone at the two border collies.

"My name? Now why would I tell you?"
Head tilted to the side as if he was faking his depression. Ears pinned back just slightly as his eyes met with hers, only to draw them away, not wanting her to think that he was challenging her in any way. Truly, he didn't want her to think he meant any harm towards her. With that, he lowered his head, not wanting her to get the wrong signal.
"Come on, don't play with me like that."
Her word tumbled out gracefully, which Moose found a talent. it was hard to talk as smoothly as she did without having to put a-lot of effort in, and it seemed almost effortless to her. Lucky little duck.
"I'm Cyanide, ruler of the Cambridge pack,"
Her name caste off a darker shadow, but it wasn't like it could get any scarier where he was, he was at a fricken' cemetery, nothing would change that. In the exact moment, for a while he had forgotten about where he was, just floating aimlessly with the female before him, stating her name as Cyanide. Well, what could he say, it suited her well. It felt odd after her last sentence, he needed to show more respect to her, she was a pack leader, an he knew well enough what packs could do to loaners.
"Well, Moose, what brings you out here to this lovely location?"
That question shot thoughts in his head... why was he really here? Even he couldn't answer that question without thinking hard. He had no idea why he was in this ghost haunt. Shivers ran down his back as he tried to force a smile, blocking out his confused look. The confused look, you would probably see that often if you were a female talking to him. he would just give you a blank stare, lost in the world, just thinking about everything that comes to his mind. or course he would never say it aloud unless he was really in love.
"I guess... I-I don't really know..."
It sounded scared, his voice sounded utterly scared. it was probably since he had just taken a fresh look around, realizing how freaky the place around him really was. he felt the erie feeling once agin, the feeling of being watched, but this time he knew there was something there... some dog.
"What's that smell? You smell it too, right?"

Cyanide knew immediately that there was another male near by watching them. Strangely, she felt the urge to protect Moose and immediately stood in front of him, slipping her haunches into a sitting position, wrapping her tail close to her body. Forelegs kept her upper body erect as she pinned her ears back and let out a loud and clear warning growl.
"Whoever is lurking nearby show yourself now," she snarled irrtably as she gazed around at the headstones, wondering if on of them might conceal the intruder lurking behind the shadows.
That was one thing Cyanide never tolerated. Lurking. Either you show yourself or you dont. It wasn't rocket science...honestly. Her blue eyes glanced over her shoulder at Moose and her tone softened slightly.
"Honey you really have to be careful here. There's lots of dogs that run in this place that dont take kindly to 'lights or neutrals. Luckily, I really don't give a crap either or, but you need to watch yourself when walking around the city. The island is even worse" she said to him, gazing into his matching blue eyes before tearing them away and scanning around to see if the other dog was going to show himself. Cyanide was no stranger to protect herself. For she knew Harley would end up tearing whoever messed with her a new hole. A faint smirk played across her face when she thought of him and whipped her head back around. She had thought she had heard something in the nearby bushes.
She remained sitting beside Moose, but kept her body in a somewhat protective posture. Her tail was not moving now, as it was kept rigid against her back paws. Her soft fur fluttered gently in the breeze as the fall wind blew past her.

The females words boomed loudly in his ears, despite himself he whined softly and drew back, quaking with fear. He didn't like this place. The dogs were aggressive and the darkness absolute despite the vague sunlight that filtered through the lilac clouds. It smelt of death and decay, and the stench of rotting bodies clung to the air with a thick, musky tang.
Barley didn't want to show himself, he wanted to disappear and run away where no dead bodies or nasty females would ever find him. He missed his brother, and wished he was here. He would of known what to do, he wouldn't let Barley be scared...
But his brother wasn't here, nor was his sister, and he was going to have to show some courage and face those nasty border collies. Barley nodded slowly, making a decision reassured his confidence slightly, and he slipped out of the shadow of the gravestone, his eyes filled with fear and anxiety.
He attempted to cough, to make his presence known, because he was still pressed against the gravestone to give him some comfort, but it turned into a stutter then fizzled out into a whisper. He gulped, feeling stupid. IDIOT! he screamed at himself.
Crawling forward on his stomach the pup gave a small wag of his tail, every inch of his body in complete submission toward the male and the female. He opened his mouth to speak, but made only a croaking sound. Clearing his throat as well as he could he took a step back and waiting timidly for the females decision.
Whether to kill him or not.

Her body moved forward, almost in front of his as he emitted a sight. he knew he could protect himself, he wasn't pathetic, but he found the act kind and caring. His lungs released a small huff as he let his half grin drop and his tail slowly flutter to a stop.
"Whoever is lurking nearby show yourself now,"
Although he was half expecting the females words t come out like that, he still slightly flinched, his body slightly backing up. At least he had just proven his good scenting to Cyanide, he would probably have to prove how brave he really was. Oh, how he wanted to join her pack, it would mean that he could spend more time with her. And she was quite fun to hang around with.
"Honey you really have to be careful here. There's lots of dogs that run in this place that dont take kindly to 'lights or neutrals. Luckily, I really don't give a crap either or, but you need to watch yourself when walking around the city. The island is even worse"
A sly smile spread across his maw as he finally had a decent set of words to blurt back at her, he might of sounded like a wimp, but at least he could think of something fast.
"Then I'm lucky to have you around, eh?"
It was a pup, and then right then at that moment, Moose flashed back to his past, his father yelling at him like he was some sort of trash, and thats when it hit him. this poor pup was in the same spot as he was. His mind raced as he stepped forward and sat before the pup, eyes showing only sympanthy.
"S'okay, pup, don't be scared. I won't hurt you."
The reason he said I was only because he really had no idea what the female next to him would do.

Cyanide spied the male come out from the shadows finally. Relaxing slightly, she saw that he was cowering against a gravestone. Clearly he thinks I'm going to kill him! Oh my God this is too hilarious! she thought stifiling a chuckle and a good hearty laugh. Cyanide lowered her belly to the ground lying beside Moose. She looked him over and let out a low laugh.
"Relax brute. I'm not going to kill you," Cyanide laughed now not able to contain herself anymore. "Would you feel better if I did?"
She laughed again and regarded the other brute. Cyanide would kill him if she wanted to, but now she wasn't feeling in the mood to do so. Besides, she only killed when she felt it was necessary. And right now she didn't feel that way. Behind her Moose was still lying down. He tried to speak , but was un able to. Cyanide raised a furry eyebrow at the brute before she responded again.
"What is your name?"Cyanide demanded. "I am Cyanide and this is Moose."
She shifted her weight a bit and felt an itch forming on her neck. She raised a hind leg and began kicking at the spot. Cyanide leaned into the itch so she was able to get the itch better. Her ear flapped slightly against the side of her head. Finally she stopped scratching and lowered her back leg again, glancing from one male to the next. She had to admit she felt rather flattered being surrounded by two brutes. But one was clearly a coward. Cyanide never mingled with cowards though. She thoguht they were weak and wasted. Her blue orbs locked on the other brute as she sat there, waiting for him to respond. She heard Moose say that he was lucky she was there. Smirking, Cyanide turned to him and nodded.
"That's for sure boyo," she said in a light flirty tone as she waited for the other brute.

The quivering pup smiled nervously. He didn't trust the female, not one bit. He didn't like the male either, but he was better than the female.
He trusted the male. Straightening up he shimmied closer to the male, he didn't feel comfortable around the female, and wished she would dissapear into a little blob he could kick around and bite. A small smile flickered on his maw for an instant, but he quickly made it vanish. He felt a little better now, with company.
Even if it was bad company.
'No,' he answered, giving the female a dirty look, not understanding her humour. Why would he rather she killed him? That was a stupid question. This was a stupid female.
'Moose?' he inquired, sounding a little confused. Who would call a pup Moose?. Barley forced a smile. 'Barley,' he answered, looked from the female to the male. He didn't seem that bad, perhaps he would save him if the female decided to kill him...
Or perhaps not...Still, he'd better keep his guard up incase things did get ugly. 'So...um...Where do you guys live?' he asked, a hint of innocence to his voice

Ears perked to hear the females laughter. Oh, god. he said something wrong. he knew it. Really, he didn't mean to, it just came out sounding like that. head lowered as he only glanced at the border collie. He felt terrible.
"OH!! W-well, I didn't mean for it to sound like that, I'm sorry..."
Eyes changed from a sooth blue to a light green. The feeling of sorrow ran through his body. How could he have said that to her? How rude he felt now. Head shook as his body turned eyes locking with the pup. he didn't look as scared now, so Moose felt a little better.
'So...um...Where do you guys live?'
Where did he live? Heh, no where. He was a wanderer. Really, he had hoped to join Cyanide's pack, but they were probably dark. Maybe if he tried his hardest to be a dark he could come with her. It wouldn't be that hard. At least it didn't look too hard.
"Eh, I'm a wanderer. You?"
A sudden breeze passed by his coat as he shivered lightly and turned his head round, trying his hardest to avoid the cool feeling. It felt as if the winds hands gripped through his coat. Eyes burned as the wind whipped at him in a way you should probably hate. But, truthfully, he didn't hate it all too much.
His thin body gave away the fact that he was quite hungry as he kept the same position. The tiny stomach growled as he tried his hardest to hide it. Although he was starving, he could have waited, hes done that before.

Cyanide looked behind her at Moose.
"Relax Moose. I wasn't meaning it toward you. You're fine," she chuckled and turned her attention onto Barley.
She heard him ask questions and caught the dirty look he gave her. Smirking Cyanide responded.
"I am leader of the Cambridge pack," Cyanide said nearly effortlessly. "As Moose said, he's a wanderer. But we are recruiting members."
She shifted her weight a bit and flicked her tail from side to side, sweeping across the ground. A chilly breeze whipped across her body, catching a few patches of her black, tawny and ivory fur. Her ice blue eyes looked over Barley. He too, was nothing more than a pup, but she really didn't care as much. Feeling her muscles tense, Cyanide pulled herself up on all fours and lowered the front half of her body in a 'bow', stretching. She yawned and let her lower jaw drop, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting between her bottom two canines. Once she stopped, she stretched one leg out one by one. Cyanide spread her legs and gave her body a rigorous shake, ears flapping against her head. She turned to Barley and Moose.
"Why dont the three of us take a walk around the cemetary? I'm getting rather bored sitting in one spot for such a long time. What about you two?" she inquired as she walked a few paces, before stopping and craning her head around to look over her shoulder at them. Ears lifted on either side, acoustics cupping any faint noise. She stopped panting and closed her jaws watching them closely. The moon dipped behind a cloud, catching her blue eyes, making them sparkle and glow. She watched them and waited for them to respond.

"Relax Moose. I wasn't meaning it toward you. You're fine,"
What was that he just saw? Did that male just give the female a dirty look. Eyes scanned towards both of the dogs as he backed up slightly, doing a great job at hiding any of his fear. Body shook as his body grew uncomfortable in the position he was laying in before. His body shifted weight to the side so he was now lying on his side. It was perfect, one, he was showing submission, and it was beyond comfortable. Only a sigh emitted from his maw as he remembered what the female said, she forgave him, thank god.
"Good. Heh"
Now looking around and watching Cyanide get up, his boy moved with hers, not really wanting her to leave. He had grown to like her and was starting to get attached. Not like inseparable, just like friends. And he hoped she thought of him like that also. She just grew on you, he couldn't really describe it. Head moved as his blades worked to walk up next to her.
"Why dont the three of us take a walk around the cemetary? I'm getting rather bored sitting in one spot for such a long time. What about you two?"
Just the thought of that sent a shiver down his spine as he thought about running around a place where those people were buried. And, to top it off, they were dead. Ugh, at least he had Cyanide... I mean, he wouldn't mind going with her, she made him feel safe.
"It is kinda getting boring, lets go then!!"

Barley shifted uncomfortably. He wasn't really bothered about going for a walk, but perhaps he would get to know them a little better, perhaps he could show them he wasn't as wimpy as he appeared. He began to wonder about the moose character. He seemed to be awfully attached to the female. It was almost like he didn't want her to leave... 'So...Are you two...?' he began, implying the question of whether they were a couple. He gave them a quizzical look, and stood up, forgetting his fear of them. They weren't that bad, perhaps a little loony, and thick, but not as evil as he had thought them to be. It was almost as if the warm rays of the rising sun had cleared away all his doubts, replacing them with common sense. What reason would they have to hurt him anyway, and if they were going to hurt him, they wouldn't ask if he wanted to go for a walk with them, now would they? Padding quickly after them, his muscles moving twice as fast because of their significantly larger legs and strides. 'Same,' Barley answered Moose, giving him a faint smile. 'Used to live with my brother and sister but...' he shrugged, unconcerned. 'We went our separate way. Well...I did.'
