Kyo and Pepper Wish To Join(Artemis and Duke)

He hadn't turned his head as he heard the quiet yelp of his newest female. He simply stopped. Standing square, all four paws were paralell to the others, perfect precision. He turned his head in a quick fashion, not quite snapping it around, just turning it quicker. Reactions were something he prided himself on. His stance was casual, ears relaxed. He turned sideways on to Kyoshire and Pepper, his tail hanging down without so much as a flick. His eyes watched without so much as a flicker. Yes, the paths could hold inconvinient stones and pebbles. You avoided them, or looked where you were putting your paws. Or, Artemis' own way was to know the path. He knew the dips and graves where the sharper pebbles tended to roll into. You avoided them and walked casually. If you were light on your paws, they didn't hurt as much if you were unlucky enough to stand on them.

"Artemis we will look around later, for now we will just rest here. We might see you later."

Artemis inclined his head slightly, not voicing his understanding. Silent Interllect. He kept his dark eyes on the two for a moment before he voiced the instruction.
"If you do not wish to sleep in the house, you will find most of the pack assembled in the electrisity plant or the abandoned bus shelter. Up the path, turn left, take the next right, climb the fire escape, continue along to the third roof, find the loose metal sheeting, pull it back and you can get into the garage." His instructions were short, clipped and brief. If they got lost, they got lost. As long as they didn't wander into Cambrige ofr Mafia terratory, they'd be fine. And he didn't wish to go extricating them in the near future, he couldn't stand those who took up too much of his time. He did have a great deal to do. He turned his head and his silent paws left the two behind, his tail vanishing around the corner in the path within a few seconds.

Kyoshire silently sat down beside her and layed his head on his paws. He lifted his head alertly aqs he heard Artemis's directions. He nodded to show acknowledgement, then layed his head on his paws again. As he closed his eyes and sighed letting his body relax, he heard his name. He opened his eyes and looked up at Pepper. His ears were flat against his head, but the shot up like bullets when he heard the question. Would you like to have pups with me? she had asked him. As his complex mind normally does, he contemplated the question thouroughly. Pups...He had once seen a litter before...two of them. They were fluffy and totaly reliant to their mother. They had clumsy paws and tiny eyes that would draw anyone inside. They always had a warm milky scent to them too, it was quite pleasing. Being zipped back into reality Kyoshire smiled and licked Pepper's forehead as she blushed. "Don't be ashamed of this." he told her with a smile. "And yes, I do believe, if we both think that this love is forever, and that we are truly commited, that indeed, pups would be a grand idea." his tail tapped the ground slowly.

[Wandering]

Pepper smiled and woofed happily, tail sweeping across the ground, eyes lighting up with happiness. She watched as he licked her forehead. She smiled and rolled over onto her pack, eyes glinting up towards Kyoshire's face, waiting for his next words. She smiled as he agreed to having pups with her. She yapped and nuzzled Kyoshire's neck.

"I am not ashamed, just a little nervous, and I think having pups would be a great idea. So......if your ready, then I think I know the way to the breeding grounds."

Pepper smiled and stood up slowly, her white fur slightly dirty from lying down on the ground. The femme's orbs sparkled with anticipation as she waited for Kyoshire to say something, or for him to nod his head and walk to the breeding grounds. When Pepper and her mother first ventured out onto the streets, she remembered seeing happy couples walk towards a land, and some females coming out of the lands, with playful romping pups, yapping and little pink tongues licking their mothers mouth, and even some sad sights, when a femme exited the lands, whimpering and forlorn, with no pups in tow, but the obvious appearance that she had given birth, but the pups had not survived. Pepper looked at Kyoshire and she hoped that she would never become one of those females. She woofed and waited for Kyoshire to reply.

Kyoshire sat silently as she rolled over onto her back. When she nuzzled his chin he closed his eyes and waited. When she stopped he smiled at her. "Nervous eh?" he smiled. "What about?" he paused as she continued on. "Pups would be nice" he added. "I'm ready when you are, you lead the way." he said "I'm sure we will have no trouble at all getting there." He gazed up at the sky. It was a dark black color and tiny stars were just beginning to appear in it. The moon was half- full. A thin wisp of a cloud drifted over it, shading them in darkness for a moment before a light breeze blew it away from the cloud allowing him to see Pepper's face once again. He stood up and shook his body from head to the tip of his tail. His ears were pinned against his head once again as something he supposed was happiness maybe joy enveloped him. Here he went again...Off on another journey. Despite desprate attempts to keep his mind from wandering, he failed as indeed, he drifted away. He could see pups, three or four, they were running around. But would that happen? Would they live? Would they even be born? All of this plagued the deep cavities of his mind as he waited to follow Pepper wherever she wanted to go.

[Wandering]

The white femme yawned and licked her paw, watching Kyoshire and listening to his words, deep charming lyrics that she loved. Her ears perked up and she straightened up, watching Kyoshire with bright, playful eyes, filled with excitement and anticipation. The young femme woofed, before walking towards the Breeding Lands, only taking a few steps, before pausing and turning back towards Kyoshire, smiling and cocking her head to one side.

"Well, I have never mated with anyone before, and when I have these pups I will be a first-time mother. It's slightly nerve-racking. But I am sure it will be worth it, right? So shall we be going then?"

Pepper waited for a moment before walking towards the breeding lands again, following a long winding road, carefully avoiding the sharp offending stones that were sticking out of the path. She yawned and stopped for a moment, sitting down on a smooth corner of the path, smiling and waiting for Kyoshire to stand up, and follow her towards the breeding grounds, that were not far from the Taurus Territories. She lent back into a bush, her tail wagging slightly, head propped up against the brick wall of the mansion. Her soft brown eyes watching Kyoshire.

Kyoshire took a deep sigh. Exhaustion coursed through his body as the sun began to set into the west. He stood up with much effort and with a grunt. He took a deep breath, closed his eyes and opened his jaws wide in a yawn, exposing his pearly white canine teeth. His tounge rolled up and then unrolled as he finsihed his yawn. He blinked his eyes a few times before bedning down and stretching his forelegs then he stood up and stretched his hind legs as well. Then, with a twitch of his ears and a flick of his tail he began to walk sleepily and slowly after Pepper. How could she be so excited? Waswn't she tired? He was somewhat riding on the hope that she would want towait until the mroning and that he could get a good night's sleep for his aching muscels. But, he guessed not. As he lumbered over, he had to literally force his body into motion. They may end up having to spend the night in the Breeding Grounds, unless there was a nice, warm, soft nest.....His head drooped and his eyes closed as he imagined it, but he quickly jerked his head up as he remembered where he was. "Well...Come on then." he said standing beside Pepper his tail low simply because he didn't want to give the effort.

[Wandering]

The snowy white femme yawned as she watched her mate approach. She could tell that he was tired, so she thought about waiting until morning. But surely a simple act such as mating would not take long, and wouldn't really tire anyone out.....would it? Pepper paused, pondering the thought for a moment, before standing up slowly, smiling at Kyoshire and nuzzling his neck before smiling and yawning slightly, before padding towards the Breeding Grounds.

"Ok I'm going, I'm going.....is there anything wrong?"

Pepper stopped and looked back at her mate for a few moments, with slight worry and confusion in her eyes, before she shrugged and padded forward again, snowy white pillars carrying her forward. She admitted, she was a little tired, but they could sleep after they bred, because it wouldn't be that tiring, right? Yeah, maybe life-changing for both of them, fun and slightly exhilarating, but not all that tiring. But still she walked forward, hoping that her love Kyoshire was following. She did not know of any reason for him not to follow her, but he seemed....agitated, and exhausted. They would have a nice long sleep after they visited the lands and bred. Pepper looked back at her love and sighed, before walking into the breeding lands.
